Most of us wanted 3.0.8 last week to curb some of the DK/BM Hunter abuses, but the holidays made it impossible. I thought the patch was coming out today for sure but the fact we didn't get it, pretty much ensures the PTR will see some heavy changes next a few days. GC posted a poll on the official forums regarding whether people felt damage as a whole is too high, or it is just the fabulous four of Rogue, Mage, Paladin and Death Knight. To my delight and relief, the vast majority said the ove… More

Don't let the title fool you, I love a lot of Logitech's hardware and I swear by their mice. The MX518 is still one of the greatest "gaming" mice ever made and I currently use their G9 with precision grip. Their customer service is second to none in my experience as well. Their latest goodies being announced at CES come in the form of the following: G19 Keyboard - A revision on the G15 with a new color LCD display, tons of macros and all that snazz… More

It is finally the big day, and many anime fans tuned in to watch the new season of Hajime no Ippo. It has been seven years since the last season, and I am sure many people are wondering how things will turn out. I personally just finished watching episode one, and loved every minute of it. It isn't subtitled yet, but I promise to have it uploaded and streaming here as soon as it is released. I am sure people are wondering if the new series would stray from the original, but I am pleased to say tha… More

This type of article is going to be another one of my weekly features. Right now we are currently in one league, UGC ( http://www.ugcleague.com/ ), and will be in a second when CAL opens its doors ( http://caleague.com/?division=l4do ). I'm going to post my POV demos of our match and discuss what went right, what went wrong, things we should of done differently, and any important things that need to be pointed out. Eventually I'm going to try and do a video blog instead, so I can keep a runni… More

It's no secret that I love movies. I love them more than any other form of entertainment. I have an extensive collection in my room of about 150 legit DVDs, and see essentially every movie released over the course of a year. In fact on New Year's Eve I gave you a list of all the films I thought were worth your time to watch over the course of 2008. I had intended on listing the top five and Slap beat me to it... so I'm going to go ahead anyway because our lists are a little different. Some movie… More

Ironically, this being hosted on a website itself, how we obtain information these days is heavily focused around the internet. Between blogs and videos, Youtube and Craigslist, people have no reason to train their dogs to retrieve the newspaper for them anymore, let alone go outside and get it themselves. Newspapers revolve around the idea of spreading information faster than word of mouth. Unfortunately with the increase of jobs that allow you to earn marginal salaries in return for sitting… More

The once great Midway is in some serious financial trouble. After Mark Thomas purchased the company last month for a mere $100,000 investors in the company were able to demand their money back. And seeings as the former majority owner had spent hundreds of millions of dollars in stock back in Midway's prime it was very likely investors would jump ship as well. It seems they are doing just that. Previously two groups of investors were each owed 75 million dollars and wanted payment this mont… More

Based on the number of blue posts we’ve been seeing recently I think Blizzard is starting to realise that Season 5 massively and irredeemably sucks! They’ve also given some interesting details regarding their design mentality including that “they will always opt for easy solutions” and now they say “crowd control should not dominate arena”. The full quote can be found below and the source of it is here: “The best way I can think to say it is: Burst damage should not dominate Arenas… More

So it's now what, a month or so since arena has been released. I've literally been on over 10 2v2 teams trying out different comps, different partners, and different specs. First off here's a link to my spec: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=bxIMzGgtMcoifRtfVzoI decided to pass up SoR, as in 2v2 only bad teams, or Ring of Valor, will allow you to take full advantage of it. It also gives up some amazing talents in the Disc tree, such as Penance. I plan on picking up the shield talents though once t… More

What happened to the promises of virtual reality? The term virtual reality was something truly magical over a decade ago, but ever since its magic has become somewhat gradually dispelled. Probably due to much of the abuse it has recieved, the technology simply wasn't ready for it and items like the Virtual Boy just went on to prove this (check ut AVGN's review of of it here). So what exactly does virtual reality imply? Well, naturally the term leaves much to interpretation as it could be anything… More
