After many scrutiny from Americans, bitter about the defeat in the female gymnastics department, an investigation was launched by IOC to find out what the hell is actually going on. After weeks of thorough documents, asking for birth records, school work, household IDs, passports, video documentaries, and much more, the Chinese girls were cleared. Not even on the front page of Digg, people seem to be keeping this breaking news a low profile, considering how wrong so many people were who thought they were not of age and would get their medals stripped.
The videos of when they were 12 years old or so training. You can see Deng Linlin in the second video at 0:52 and Jiang Yuyuan when she was 12 years old, christ was she small.

Rumor has it that the IOC has had some suspicions with Michael Phelps under the influence of steroids. We'll see how that plays out.

This film seems hilarious. Gonna go watch it tomorrow. Personally, I can't stand devouts who shut their ears to logic and reasoning to blindly believe in something, especially when it is having an even bigger impact on politics today, as you can see in George Bush's nomination and Palin's attempts to draw blind votes from Christian slaves. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if this country was turned into a dictatorship with Bush claiming he was a messenger from God.
His interview with John Stewart a while ago was pretty entertaining to say the least.

China provided the original passports, ID cards and family registers for He Kexin, Yang Yilin, Jiang Yuyuan, Deng Linlin and Li Shanshan, all showing the girls were 16 or would turn 16 this year.
Right. I am sure the chinese govt would not even come close to having the resources to fake these... ROFL... They got busted, plain and simple. And to save "azn face" the Chinese took all stops to prevent them from looking like further ********.

The Chinese Government would easily stoop to faking documents if it was needed to avoid the shame of having gold medals (won over america remember) stripped from them - nothing could be more damaging to their long term goals.
Im not saying they are faked, but if they actually are under-age then it would be very close-minded to assume the chinese government would not bed over backwards to clear them, regardless of morals.

You're right. They probably would. But that's a baseless accusation. It's judgemental. I say the U.S. government too would easily stoop to faking documents because they want the perpetual illusion that they have unrivaled power and it's the exact same statement that you have made. Point is, it's conspiracy and most of stems from racial bias/media distortion.

because no one cares. are you that stupid? no one cares when there is no story. the story was the possibility that the girls were underage, that story went away, the cares went with it. are you new to the world? this is how **** works all the time.
also, they are probably underage. but the ioc does not care enough to push the issue anymore. i think some of them are underage, but even i don't care anymore. even if the story came out that they were in fact underage, it's an OLD TOPIC.Â

You're right, Americans weren't the only ones. But the Americans were the only ones that made a big deal out of it when it wasn't true. It was something to cling onto to excuse their loss (even though reverting 1 gold medal didn't discount the fact that they lost by what, 15?)
