WAR video: speedy t3 scenarios with an Engineer and some Bright Wizards

Nothing really special in this blog (aside from it being a break from Bill’s anime trash which for some unknown reason people keep clicking on), but I figured I’d post a video that I recorded in the T3 WAR scenario “Tor Anroc”.

 

Since our Engineer hit level 29 he had access to an ability in his career trees that pulls everyone within 65 feet towards him.

 

 

Obviously we didn’t “invent” the strat (not that we “stole it”, but it’s been around since beta and it’s pretty simple to figure out), but basically when you couple this skill (or the Magus alternative) with AOE – it becomes pretty potent.

 

Basically whenever our Engineer was online we started running 2-4 Bright Wizards all specced AOE to just abuse the **** out of this, and complete scenario’s quicker. Realistically it’s not THAT much quicker, but it’s a lot more fun since we’ve been running single target strats for the last week.

 

If you CBF watching the whole thing (I added a text to explain what’s happening to avoid the inevitable “why did you all just stand around” questions), the best example of our AOE strat is at 2 mins.

 

Oh as for specific Bright Wizard strats (if anyone cares), we’re using Annihilate rather than Rain of Fire since it does more damage than tick, and at level 30 we’re using the Close Quarter tactic (25% more damage point blank, which is what Annihilate is), the int tactic, and then you can pick either Explosive Force or Wildfire from your career tree.
