The next MLG is going to consist of several top teams from around the world, battling it out for 1st place, respect from the World of Warcraft community, and 3 brand new HP Firebirds. With such prestigious prizes at stake, many ask "hey who is going to win MLG u think??" Well, Max 'YoG' Yueh is here to provide you with those answers and much more inside.
Max 'YoG' Yueh's Predictions:
Check-Six:
Now I am going to discuss this team first because that is probably what they will place: first. This infamous squad is notorious for pushing World of Warcraft’s retarded elements to their limits. With their introduction of beast cleave, they managed to demonstrate how Truly Retarded this game can be. However, this is not to take anything away from their success. Competitive WoW teams should be based around their players, not their classes. They are all excellent players, and I never feel confident going in versus them. Twixz can instantly revert from the precision skill based play style of his previous specs and transfer instantly to the retards mode of BM and do the most damage I have ever seen. He is a phenomenal hunter, and although I have not played against him recently with him being a normal spec, he has always been one of the best in the past. With the new addition of Toez replacing Wingz 'Kintt' Arthur, they will win this tournament. The fact that they choose these Dishonorable methods to win is entirely understandable. I guarantee I would do the exact same thing in their shoes. WoW is not about honor. No one wants to sit on an airplane for 8 hours to lose instantly. This is why I believe this team will take first, because when you take 3 big retards and put them on the same WoW team, it generates astounding results. They are not afraid of playing dirty, and they could care less if you criticize their team, because in the end, they are the ones that go home with 3 brand spanking new firebirds.
SK-US:
The American RMP. With all star mage pookz, rogue hero enforcer, and father realz to guide them along the path of righteousness, I once again predict a strong finish for this team. Despite their loss to complexity last MLG, I believe this has done nothing but invigorate their desire to beat them into the dirt this time around. I have witnessed them practicing for several hours on end, and even taking first on the worlds hardest BG bloodlust. Father Realz is not one to let go of a grudge, and you know he wants to send complexity home empty handed after Sodah's derogatory remarks towards their team in his last set of predictions. Pookz is one of the best mages when it comes to making my rogues cry in vent. He will stand on top of them and run around until his frost novas come back up and nova them for 100 years. He is also one of the few mages that consistently prevents clean vanishes or restealths. Realz, while many refuse to acknowledge his skill as a player and only attribute his success to making good strategies, he is one of the most technically skilled priests I know. His positioning is excellent and he manages to avoid CC and keep his team up regardless of the amount of pressure he is under. Finally, we have Enforcer. After the release of his movie, he has regressed from the most honored rogue to "mutilate mashing enforcer." However, having played against him personally, I can safely say he has a spot secured at the very top of the rogue ladder. With the thousands of rogues playing competitive arenas, he is one of the few that have stood out. One of the most finely coordinated teams, with outstanding CC from pookz, raw Offensive Pressure from Enforcer, and the father / son synergy between them and Realz, I expect a much better performance from them this time around.
Complexity:
The home of Rogue Hero Reckful. This team was the only RMP to take a series from us at the last MLG due to the Offensive nature of this play. With many games of rogue/ret/priest under his belt, Reckful applied his knowledge from his cheap shot killing spree days to come up with an excellent strategy for owning us: Kill Douja - it has worked before. Now one cannot deny the proficiency of this team - being able to defeat every skill based team and only losing to the cleavers. I have personally played against these guys many times and I can attest to their skills. Sodah is the king of dispelling immolates, even if he is being killed he still finds time to dispel things such as flame shock off his rogue. He loves to dispel, and he is the only priest I have played who fully realizes how good the ability is. Instead of healing, he dispels, and as a result his PMR is one of the hardest ones for us as destruction spec. Venruki is also exceptionally good, with a play style I feel matches their PMR perfectly. He is usually very aggressive on damage, but never neglects CC. His play style is more technical, with a lot of smooth, effective target swaps and CC chains. In the past I felt that he carried his team, but now with the addition of Reckful and the training Sodah has done, I feel his entire team is on par with his abilities. I do not need to say anything about Reckful. He is the best god damn rogue in the world.
SK-EU:
The polar opposite of Check-Six (not to say that they will place last). These guys love honor. With inflame playing WLD up until Blizzcon 09, he is the only warlock that has stuck with the comp. Even though he was playing in a battle group saturated with weak European players, doing that good with WLD is still mildly impressive. Now back with a new comp DK, Druid, Warlock, all playing the skilled specs, they are expected to perform very well at MLG. Inflames, widely revered by Europeans as the best band in the world, has brought this team a ton of hype. Unfortunately, I do not believe Europeans have the talent to compete with the Americans. After Kae the druid from WOAH boldly proclaimed he would not die to Americans at Blizzcon, he managed to die every game even after Realz released a video weeks in advance telling them exactly what they planned on doing. However, chivalry did originate in Europe, and perhaps their obsession with Honor in Battle will provide them with some positive results this time.
....To be continued
There will be a part 2, and it will be posted in full here at WoWriot as well. However do stop over at http://www.fnatic.com/ as we will be posting interviews with players after the event, as well as other MLG content!

If you really want to get technical, Homo sapiens actually are all from Africa. Also, most of Western Europe is actually from Germanic speaking tribes while the Slavs/Russians are from Asia along with most of East Europe. I think Italians/Greek/Mediterranean people who really have been in the same spot for thousands of years.
******* idiot.

Robert Fulton, Alexander Graham Bell, Henry Ford, Albert Einstein, Roman Polanski, the list goes on and on. As soon as Americans kicked the eurotrash and brown/red people from our majestic lands we've led the world in everything from engineering to science to child molestation to invading and occupying third-world countries.
AMERICA **** YEAH!

Without ending up in America their names would've been relegated to the dustbin of history. Only in accepting our values did they gain recognition over the likes of eurotrash Bohr and Meucci. That is FACT!

You Europeans and your silly devotion to "evidence" and "logic". Sometimes I don't know why we keep fighting wars to ensure your freedoms.

And I don't understand the amarican nationalism.
I'm not much into the Europe vs US thing. I'm cheering for SK.eu and snutz's team cause I like there com and don't hope x6 wins cause I dislike there comp.

I favor x6 because they used to play on my server. But otherwise hope SK-EU wins, they do have a more honest comp and I like the players. I've been kidding about the jingoistic nonsense btw. Hope that Treaty of Lisbon works out for you.

I hope Fanatic places in top 3, they deserve some prize money. They were the most exciting team to watch last tournament.

As much as he's arrogant with what he says, he's more than likely right. Only RMP to beat up Check Six was BB though, surprised no one has mentioned anything about that.

I believe that BB only beat them when Kintt was playing as priest rather than Paladin maybe?

It'll be Check-6 over SK-EU in the finals. The biggest dissapointment will be Complexity.
