Well i want to introduce myself my name is Lylah and this is the first time i make a blog in gameriot even though i am a member more than 7 months.
It's just my game card time faded away today and i wanted to try something different..so noone has posted latest Wotlk info on Gameriot and i chose this as first topic of my Blog.I know most of you already know the changes,it's simple a recollection of every major change.
Berserk - "Reduces the energy cost of your Cat form abilities by 50% while in Cat form, and increases your total health by 30% and causes your Mangle (Bear) and Maul abilities hit up to 3 maximum targets while in Bear form or Dire Bear form. Berserk instantly clears all effects which cause loss of control of your character, and makes you immune to them for the duration. Lasts 20 sec."
Cat version is pretty much an altered Beast within,Bear version is really unique,AOE tanking tool.
Infected Wounds - "Your Shred, Maul and Mangle attacks have a 33/66/100% chance to cause an Infected Wound in the target. The Infected Wound reduces the movement speed and attack speed of the target by 10%. Stacks up to 5 times. Lasts 12 sec." Will it be just attack speed or Casting Speed too?Reducing Casting speed of casted heals will be an alternate MS,especially for duels.
Predatory strikes-"Increases your melee attack power in Cat, Bear, Dire Bear and Moonkin Forms by 50%/100%/150% of your level and 7%/14%/20% of any attack power on your equipped weapon."
Feral Charge (Cat): 10 energy, 0.75 second cast, 8-25 yard range, 30 second cooldown. "Causes you to leap behind an enemy, dazing them for 3 sec."Give them Lazer cannons attached on their backs now..
Restoration
Druids also get an out of combat normal Ress as all the other healing Classes.
-Revive - "Returns the spirit to the body, restoring a dead target to life with 1800 health and 1365 mana. Cannot be cast when in combat.
-Entangling Roots tick every second now can be used indoors as well.
-Lunar Guidance changed to 4%/8%/12%:This change totally wrecks the prototype of Dreamstate Healing Touch Druids.
-Empowered Touch - Changed to 20/40% (up from 10/20%).
-Rejuvenation rank 15: 645 mana, heals for 1352 over 12 sec.
-Healing Touch rank 14: 1400 mana, 4375 to 5165 healing.
-Regrowth rank 12: 1040 mana, 2234 to 2494 healing, 2345 healing over 21 sec.
-Lifebloom rank 3: 430 mana, 441 healing over 7 sec per stack. Blooms for 970.
-Mark of the Wild rank 9: 850 mana. Armor increased by 750, attributes increased by 37, resistances increased by 54.
-Faerie Fire rank 6: Reduces armor by 1260.
-Rebirth rank 7: Resurrects with 6400 health and 4700 mana.
- Tiger's Fury rank 6: No energy cost, 30 second cooldown. Increases damage done by 131 for 6 sec.
Warrior
Shield Slam has to be noted that it's trainable from now on,it shares CD with Bloodthirst and MS,does this mean Arena Warriors just added a Dispel in their Arsenal with Shield Slam??
Strength of Arms - "Increases your Strength and total health by 1/2/3/4/5%."
Vigilance - Focus your protective gaze on a friendly target, increasing their chance to dodge by 5%. In addition, any time they are hit by an attack your Taunt cooldown is refreshed. Lasts until cancelled. This effect can only be on one target at a time.This ability took Shield Slam's position in the tree,sounds like an unfinished talent to me.
-Bloodbath rank 1: 15 Rage. "Wound up to 5 enemy targets within 8 yards, causing 244 to 256 damage and causing them to Bleed for 250 damage damage over 15 sec. If the target becomes enraged, the Bloodbath bleed effect causes four times the normal damage."
-Shield Break: 15 rage, 1 minute cooldown. "Break down the enemy's defenses, disarming any shield they have equipped or reducing the chance the enemy will Block by 3% for 10 sec."
- Battle Shout rank 9: Increases attack power by 550.
mproved Revenge now increases the damage dealt by your Revenge ability by 8/16/25% in addition to it's old effect.More DPS for PVP prot wars!
-Concussion Blow now causes damage equal to 25% of your attack power and has had it's cooldown reduced to 30 seconds. In addition the damage caused by Concusion Blow generates high threat.
-Bloodthirst now recovers 1.5% of your max health per hit.5 hits x 1.5% so a 7.5% HP healed every 6secs but how can you actually hit 5 times when dual wielding 2handers /shrug,Flurry is almost neutralized from Titan's Grip maybe with a slam from time to time..
-Commanding Shout rank 2: Increases health by 1855.
-Commanding Shout rank 3: Increases health by 2255.
-Shield Block - Increases your chance to block and the amount blocked by 100% for 5 sec, but will only block 1 attack. 30 sec cooldown.Amount blocked by 100% simply means you are immune to the next physical attack hmm..
Mage
-Conjure Food rank 9: 1100 mana, 10 sweet potato pies.
-Conjure Food rank 10: 1245 mana, 8 strudels.
-Conjure Water rank 10: 1100 mana, 10 skins of rain water.
-Conjure Water rank 11: 1245 mana, 6 skins of crystal spring water.
-Conjure Mana Gem rank 6: 2375 mana, Mana Sapphire, restores 3330 to 3500 mana.
-Conjure Mana Gem rank 7: 1670 mana, Mana Opal, 2340 to 2460 mana, one charge.

- Spore Cloud rank 1: 50 focus, 10 second cooldown. "Inflicts 2 nature damage to nearby enemies every 2 sec for 6 sec and reduces armor by 15%.
- Dust Cloud rank 1: 50 focus, 20 second cooldown. "Kick up an obscuring cloud of dust, lowering the chance for enemies to hit by 30%. Effects last 8 sec."
- Serenity Dust rank 1: 75 focus, 2 minute cooldown. "Heals the pet for 510 over 15 sec."
- Bad Attitude rank 1: 25 focus, 3 minute cooldown. "Snap back for 5 damage at any target that strikes you for the next 2 min."
- Nether Shock rank 1: 30 focus, 20 yard range, 6 second cooldown. "Instantly lashes an enemy for 17 to 19 Shadow damage. Also interrupts spellcasting and prevents any spell in that school from being cast for 1 sec."
- Ravage rank 1: 80 focus, 1 minute cooldown. "Violently attack an enemy for 4 to 6, stunning it for 2 sec."
- Sonic Blast rank 1: 80 focus, 1 minute cooldown. "Emits a piercing shriek, inflicted 4 to 6 physical damage and stunning the target for 2 sec."
- Wing Buffet rank 1: 40 focus, 30 second cooldown. "Blasts the target for 4 to 6 damage and knocking it back."
- Snatch rank 1: 40 focus, 1 minute cooldown. "Grab the enemy's weapon with your talons, disarming them for 10 sec."

- Primal Aggression - "Increases damage done by your Maul and Shred attacks on bleeding targets by 2/4/6/8/10%, and increases the critical strike chance of your Ferocious Bite ability on bleeding targets by 10/20/30/40/50%."Well i doubt this one will make it on Live,it solves Druid finishing move rotation pve wise,more than Animal druids need!

- Starfall (Rank 1, Level 80, 866 mana, instant, 3 min cooldown) - "You summon a flurry of stars from the sky on all targets within 30 yards of the caster, each doing 500 Arcane damage, and an additional 170 Arcane to all nearby targets within 5 yards. Maximum 20 stars. Lasts 10 sec." (note:this spell has a 15% chance to stun with Celestian Focus)
Nature's Fury - " Your Wrath and Starfire spells have a 20/40/60/80/100% chance of applying the Nature's Fury debuff on the target. The Nature's Fury debuff increases Nature and Arcane damage done to the target by 2%. Lasts 10 sec. Stacks up to 3 times." In needs of serious buffing!
Instant Cast,20secs CD interupts spells and knocks melee away from you when casted.
- Improved Moonkin Form - "Your Moonkin Aura also causes affected targets to have a 33/66/100% chance to gain 20% spell haste when they critically hit with spells for 10 seconds. This effect cannot occur more than once every few seconds."

- Gale Winds - "Increases damage done by your Hurricane and Typhoon spells by 25/50%, and increases the range of your Cyclone spell by 10/20%."
- Owlkin Frenzy - "Attacks done to you while in Moonkin form have a 5/10/15% chance to cause you to go into a Frenzy, increasing your damage by 10% and causes you to be immune to pushback while casting Balance spells. Lasts 10 sec."
- Eclipse - "When you critically hit with Starfire, you have a 20/40/60% chance of increasing damage done by Wrath by 10%. When you critically hit with Wrath, you have a 20/40/60% chance of increasing your critical strike chance with Starfire by 10%. Effect lasts 30 sec. 2 min cooldown."
- This is a really Weak talent for 3 talent points and a 2min CD.
Restoration
- Living Seed - "When you gain a critical effect from your Swiftmend, Regrowth, Nourish or Healing Touch spell you have a 20/40/60/80/100% chance to plant a Living Seed on the target for 30% of the amount healed. The Living Seed will bloom when the target is next attacked. Lasts 15 sec."
- Gift of the Earthmother - Reduces the global cooldown of your Rejuvenation and Lifebloom spells by .1/.2/.3/.4/.5 sec, and causes your Healing Touch and Nourish spells to refund 1/2/3/4/5% of their base cost for each healing over time effect on the target.Hmm 3 Lifeblooms,Regrowth,Reju,Flourish and Nourish(if it applies to itself),we got an 35% refund on mana cost of the Healing Touch/Nourish but then again when does a target have all these in pve?The reduced Globals on lifeblooms will increase the total HPS of Druid using them thus making Healing Touch a loss of HPS.. ><
Tree of Life - "Shapeshift into the Tree of Life. While in this form your movement speed is reduced by 20% and you can only cast Swiftmend, Innervate, Nature's Swiftness, Rebirth, Barkskin, Nourish, poison removing and healing over time spells, but the mana cost of these spells is reduced by 20%. Your heals also grant friendly targets your Bark's Blessing, increasing healing done to them by 25% of your total Spirit. Bark's Blessing lasts 8 sec."
Replenish - "Your Rejuvenation and Flourish spells have a 5/10/15% chance to restore 10 Energy, 4 Rage, 2% Mana or 10 Runic Power per tick."

Titan's Grip - "Allows you to equip two-handed axes, maces and swords in one hand, but you attack 20% slower then normal."Now you can actually overpower/whirlwind with a x3.3 Weapon speed modifier and make proper use of Slam as a dual wielder.
Furious Resolve - "Reduces threat caused by attacks in Battle and Berserker Stance by 4/7/10% and increases your total Stamina by 1/3/5%." (Fury)

Sudden Death - Your melee critical hits have a 10%/20/30% chance of allowing the use of Execute regardless of the target's health state.Hot talent but lets a closer look Execute rank 9 does 1665 damage and for each additional point of rage it does 38 damage,so we are looking at a 5465 damage execute with a healthy crit of 30%+ and Impale negated from Ressilience...ok this aint going live..
Bull Rush - "Increases the duration of the Stun effect of your Charge and Intercept abilities by .4/.7/1 seconds." Too high in the tree for 3 TP and for just 1sec i believe...
Unrelenting Assault - "Reduces the cooldown of your Overpower and Revenge abilities by 1/2/3 seconds." Hmm on how many classes you actually use overpower more than once every 6secs?Just make it so Overpower has 33/66/100% chance to be used after parry too.Bloodsurge - "Your Bloodthirst critical hits have a 33/66/100% chance of reducing the swing time of your next Slam by 100% for 5 sec."

- Sword and Board - "When your Devastate and Shield Slam abilities deal damage they have a 2/4/6/8/10% chance of refreshing the cooldown of your Shield Slam ability and reducing its cost by 100% for 5 sec." More dmg for the ''rage starving'' Prot pvp and more threat for the pve counterpart.
- Safeguard - ,"Reduces damage taken by the target of your Intervene ability by 20/40/60% for 6 sec. In addition, your Charge, Intercept and Intervene abilities have a 33%/66%/100% chance to remove all movement impairing effects when used." I would love to see a pvp Prot warrior utilizing this talent.
- Critical Block - "Your successful blocks have a 10/20/30% chance to block double the normal amount."
- Stalwart Protector - "You gain 1/2 rage every time you parry or dodge an attack." You could say it's more useful in pvp since you don't get that much rage from a rogue that hardly gets through your defenses.

- -Improved Shield Bash now also increases your Shield Slam damage by 5/10%.
- -Improved Disarm now reduces the cooldown on your Disarm and Shield Break abilities by 5/10/15 seconds, and additionally will cause any targets you've disarmed to take 4/7/10% extra damage.

- -Mortal Strike rank 8: 380 bonus damage
- -Rampage rank 4: 85 attack power per stack
Mage
Arcane
- Arcane Barrage (Rank 3, Level 80, 610 mana, instant, 3 sec cooldown) - "Launches several missiles at the enemy target, causing 936-1145 Arcane damage."Interesting new ability for PVP,it's cooldown though makes it not fit well in pve rotations.
- Netherwind Presence - "Gives your Arcane Missiles, Arcane Barrage, Arcane Blast, Fireball, Frostbolt and Frostfire Bolt spells a 15% chance to cause the next Arcane Blast, Fireball, Frostbolt or Frostfire Bolt to be instant."If this baby has chance to proc on every missile of Arcane Missiles..
- Fire
- Burnout - "Increases your spell critical damage bonus with all Fire spells by 5/10/15/20/25% but every time you critical with a Fire spell you lose an additional 1% of your total mana." If i use rank 1 Fire blast do i lose 1% of my mana lol.
- Frost
- Chilled to the Bone - "Increases the damage caused by your Frostbolt and Ice Lance spells by 1/2/3/4/5% and reduces the movement speed of all chilled targets by an additional 2/4/6/8/10%."

- -Invisibility's fade time changed to 3 seconds.
- -Evocation - Mana restored increased to 75% (up from 60) and duration increased to 10 seconds (up from 8 seconds).
- -Arcane Focus now only gives 1% Arcane spell hit chance per point, but will now reduce mana cost of Arcane spell by 1% per point as well.
- -Magic Attunement now increases your Arcane spells ranges by 3/6 yards, in addition to it's old effect.
- -Prismatic Cloak now reduces the fade time on your Invisibility spell by 1/2 seconds in addition to it's old effect.
- -Frostfire Bolt (Rank 1, Level 75) - "Launches a bolt of frostfire at the enemy, causing 629-732 Fire damage, slowing movement speed by 40% and causing an additional 57 Fire damage over 9 sec. If the target is more vulnerable to Frost damage, this spell will cause Frost instead of Fire damage."
- -Mage Armor(Rank 6) - "Increases your resistance to all magic by 40 and allows 30% of your mana regeneration to continue while casting. In addition, the duration of all harmful Magic effects used against you is reduced by 50%.
- -PermaFrost has been reduced to 3 talent points.
- -Ice Armor rank 6: 930 mana, increases armor by 930, frost resistance by 40.
- -Ice Barrier rank 8: 850 mana, absorbs 3300 damage.
- -Molten Armor rank 3: 1125 mana, causes 170 fire damage when hit.

About fecking time! Can't find more useless spec than feral in arenas atm (ok.. maybe prot ;p ? ). Would be cool to actually kill something for a change and not run around pillars throwing hots :P.

Hunters are not garbage,it's just that they are not as strong as the dominant classes :<<br /> I'm Concerned bout Paladin future,i wait for a year now for fixxes,i was forced to reroll as many others but something always kept me bound with the class.
I'm curious if blizzard will follow the old design/lore making mostly defensive abilities or follow new design,giving paladins CC and more offensive abilities.

Oh yeah hunters aren't garbage that's why their representation in arena's is perfectly rocking out that 100% criteria they hope for with every class.
Like 4 people play them cause they suck, all my friends who played hunters quit and made better characters.

Lylah, don't kid yourself. If hunters are a B, and everyone else is an A+, that means hunters are garbage, end of story. Personally, I'm rather intrigued about these pet changes and wondering which one I'll go with. From the looks of it, Nether Shock is going to be the skill to take, though I imagine a lot of hunters picking up a pet with Pin until they realize that forcing their pet in melee range with a channeled root is not going to end well when they're holding a warrior still.
Hunters still need some sort of anti-pillar, pushback resistance on steady shot, and pet resilience for them to be brought up to the level of other classes in the arena.
