I just came back a few days ago, with a new processor and more new hardware from the winning of the little french tournament in “Brest” together with Mr.Kebab in person Khuna and Thorkin. The tournament was pretty cool, apart from me having to play with different keyboard and mouse for not having an PS2->USB adapter.

I have to say that there was one stand where you could play Left4Dead 2 in 3D and I thought it might be terrible, but the quality and how it actually works and looks in 3D makes you want to quit every game just to play Left4Dead 2 in 3D.

The usual Best players of their class post, but this time for TBC.

Everyone says these posts have no value, they are pretty dumb because you didn’t play versus everyone. Well it´s true those posts are pretty subjective, but atleast I played on every battlegroup so far and I will put together my thoughts about players I met, I played with or other people like inflame, another and so on said are good into my opinion.

The list might lack somebody, but will pretty much cover a lot of people, except some Spanish and Russian players.

I will write down some players, their accomplishments and why I think they are the best of the best.

Warrior

A lot changed for the warrior class in WOTLK, you had scrubs from TBC like ocelote becoming really great warriors and heroes like Moldran becoming only above average.

Arena

Séb
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Stormscale&n=S%C3%A8b

I personally only met him a few times, he was really good in those games, good timing of reflects, great positioning and timing of his cds.

According to Another and many top players he is the best warrior in europe.

Rdsa (Redsea Cyclone EU, teammate of tezor)

A very successful warrior in TBC with his team Millenium.

Kadis back then always said he is the best warrior ever, that didn’t change.

He won ESL TV Invitational together with another and enigmz, was rank1 on cyclone with WMD and WLD with Inflame and still doing great with Tezor and a druid at the moment. You can watch him in action here:
http://warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=105233

Duel

You always have to separate Arena Players or Duel Heroes, most good duelers are great in Arena too, if that’s the case I note it in the Arena section, if I think they are really good in Arena but as good as the best but are the best duelers then they land here.

Boned
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Stormscale&n=Boned

Really good warrior in duels and the only real warrior I ever lost too, while playing serious, his damage and timing of cooldowns are insane, he is especially good vs mages since he had an brutal or deadly glad mage named proofyo.

I have to admit, there might be others I didn’t duel yet but so far he was the best.

In my eyes the best warrior europe had was Yunisha, but he plays a druid now.

Honorable mentions: Moldran

Hunter

Since Cherez quit and Jiffy went casual there was never a hunter that got the acceptance as being great in the pvp scene, so it´s really difficult to find a good hunter.

Arena

Brakus
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Stormscale&n=Brakus

Alot of people say he is a really good hunter, i never had the pleasure to meet him in Arena so i will just put him here.

Cytraz

When I played versus him we got raped pretty hard, he was the best hunter I´ve played against in Wotlk in 3s so far. He held rank2 for a long period of time in 3s with druid DK hunter and he didn’t play BM.

Duel

As I said there aren’t many hunters and its really hard to say who is good and bad but the ones I dueled and played pretty well were:

Junglist

A bloodelve hunter that raped me pretty hard because I don’t have any experience in duels vs hunter.

Honorable mention: Rykuu

Druid

The offensive druids are dead, sonnys playstyle which was actually enjoying to watch is gone and useless, its all about positioning and predicting for druids these days.

Arena

Resto

Enigmz
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Stormscale&n=enigmz

I don’t think he needs any introduction, the druid of SK.EU who will win MLG this weekend is absolutely amazing.

In tbc I always thought he was just average since there was nobody really compareable to sonny and carekoala back then, but his defensive playstyle just fits in perfectly for Wotlk.

If you play SK.EU as rmp you will notice the difference especially in enigmz play compared to others and his play makes it that hard to beat them.

You usually open with a good switch with DF and imp cs on the druid when he has no hots and cant use barkskin and you just kill him those 4 seconds, but enigmz is so fast with Barkskin that he sees the switch and uses it perfectly so you sometimes waste the imp cs. You just target him and he starts hotting himself or going to a pillar.

Fraki

The druid of SK.Sansibar who plays many healers on a high level, just like the toez of europe. He is really good at surviving and kiting which seperates him from many other druids.

Feral

Shael (cyclone eu)

The druid Daanzka and Penelop plays with, is a really great feral druid, his feral charge timings are nearly perfect, for example if you fake the swd you know he is gonna charge the next sheep or starts cycloning you. He is also very good in restealthing.

Naieth
(frostwolf eu)

A german druid who had nicknames of being the best resto in tbc.

Only met him a few times but was really great then as feral.

Honorable mentions: Lopakodoo, Chrille

Rogue

Not much changed from TBC to Wotlk, most good rogues back then adapted pretty well to mutilate and are still the best.

Arena

Kalimist
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Stormscale&n=Kalimist

The rogue of ensidia is the best rogue in europe in arena and I would have loved to watch an allstart tournament of the best US rogue Woundman, the best Korean rogue Dker and Kalimist to finally prove who is the best in the world! Whos your pick?

His speciality is his overview, that he makes the talks in his rmp, his ability to go defensive and offensive and the kiting in rmp mirrors and of course vanishing the vanish.

Skaary (Destromath EU, Teammate of Ayrez)

You might not know him, but he wasn’t really good at the start of wotlk since he played on a terrible german bg, but migrated to blutdurst and started to get good again, top10 on cyclone as rogue mage and now rank1 on blutdurst in 3on3.

I met him a few times as mage lock priest vs his rmp and his reactions and kicks showed how skilled he really is.

Duel

Well there are many rogues that are really great in duels and in arena but I wanted to keep the list of rogues small.

Syrez
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Stormscale&n=Ashisogi

Duel him as mage and you will find out why he is the best dueling rogue and best dueling mage in europe.

At the time Ming had this whole dueling competition going on and litreocola was the best rogue versus mages, Trigz dueled Litre with 200ms+ on US TR and went 30-3 without having the perfect spec and practice how to play vs rogues that are specialized for mages. After that trigz became a real monster vs rogues and I always said syrez is the best so he started dueling him on tr with black magic etc.

Syrez had no practice vs mages with impact and full vs rogues talents but was still able to 19:6 or something versus trigz and even he admitted that syrez is better than litreocola and the best mutilate duel rogue.

Naviz

He is a great dueller with shadowdance and mutilate and always does amazing stuff while dueling, he is like the unmercey of europe alongside shaderlol.

Shaderlol
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Stormscale&n=shaderlol

Do you have to mention him, just look at his duel statistics and you will know how good he is with shadowdance.

Honorable Mention: Zom, Khuna(don’t wanna write down my teammates)

Paladin

Arena

Naurii (Cyclone EU)

He is the best paladin after forteh in my eyes.

Great positioning and usage of cooldowns.

Gookita
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Stormscale&n=Gookita

Well yeah, azox is a great paladin, couldn’t really cc him, the best at avoiding cc´s ive seen so far.

Duel

Nobody, everyone is bad at it, but I would say sexykommando if he would play on a European server from korea with 600ms would still be better than everyone here.

Priest

Arena

Hydra

He is He, everyone says he is good, I say he is overrated but still good enough to be one of the best if not the best priest in europe.

He improved a lot in speed on dispelling novas to prevent to get deepfreezed and polyed. He is the best dueling priest I have seen so far.

Thorkin
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Stormscale&n=Thorkin

Since he is my teammate I wont write anything.

Warlock

This is pretty easy, a lot of the good warlocks just quitted to play their locks when the class was bad and the ones who didn’t are the best at it at the moment.

Arena

Inflame
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Stormscale&n=Inflamex

Well, I don’t need to write anything if you played vs him or saw him play you will know why he is the best warlock in the europe and world

Ghingis (teammate of nx and trigz Cyclone EU)

He is a great destruction warlock and knows how to use succubus and swap to felhunter in his RLS.

Draintrainy
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Outland&n=Draintrainy

Didn’t think he was good in TBC when we played them a lot on esl realm and I outplayed them to oblivion, but according to everyone and what I saw on esl realm of wotlk he seems to be a great warlock now

Duel

Ayr (Aýres) (Blutdurst, Cyclone EU)

He is a great warlock and I think at the moment he is the best dest lock we have in europe. If you look for any team with a warlock in just message him and ask him.

Wallirik (Cyclone EU)

You know who you are, just stop bursting and perfectly fakecasting + teleporting my novas you damn orc;\

Honorable mentions: Tezor, Dreschnuu, Valandil

Deathknight

Arena

Anotherx
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Stormscale&n=Anotherx

Well he just is the best. He is so good at anticipiating high burst dmg, and is able to prevent it with clutch grips and focus mind freezes on the mage.
His cooldown timing is superb.

Lawdy
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Stormscale&n=Lawdy

Really good DK, that knows how to kite an rmp.

Honorable mentions: Aitpwn

Mage

Arena

Ayrez
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Destromath&n=Ayrez

He is really good in talking, telling switches and his overview and finding strategys is very rare, he is just different to any mage, you can say he is the Realz of europe and he actually is a sick player aswell.

I don’t think he is the fastest mage but he really is an awesome player.

Trigz
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Stormscale&n=trigz

I think he isn’t as good as he was in TBC, not in duels and not in arena, but he definitely is a great mage that deserves to be in this list.

Coold

From what I saw he was really fast at playing and he was the best player in innerfire and not phenomenon.

Duel

Flýn

Yes flyn is really good in duels, I don’t think he is that good in mage vs mage, but versus every other class he is doing really good, I only met him a few times in arena and I would never say he is the best mage in europe after that, everyone can have bad days, but what I heard from others he is not the best mage in eu.

Magetrainer
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Lothar&n=Magetrainer

Yes, he is the best dueling mage together with Flýn, he just has no life and doesn’t do anything else apart from dueling.

Shaman
Arena

Wottka (Eredar EU)
You might have heard of him, might not, but he is probably the best shaman playing the game at the moment.
You have Kollektiv in the US and we have Wottka, a shaman who got deadly and furious in 2s and top 10 with the comp warrior shaman dk, in which the warrior is not good on the best german bg and probably on the 3rd best in europe (since all good germans migrated to blutdurst or cyclone)

Nx (Cyclone EU, teammate of Trigz and Ghingis)
He is a great shaman and if you consider him playing with 300ms from dubai its even more amazing how well he does.
Furious glad on cyclone says all.

The biggest Anticomp for RMP?

Well yeah it´s not beastcleave and it is not PHD either!

This comp is a nightmare for any rmp, but heavily relies on the paladin and since there aren’t many good ones it´s pretty hard to get this comp going.

Euneek if you read this you should start giving this comp a shot, since it´s far superior to RPP.

http://kr.wowarmory.com/team-info.xml?b=%EC%A7%95%EB%B2%8C%EC%9D%98+%EC%A0%84%EC%9E%A5&r=Azshara&ts=3&t=%EC%B8%A0%ED%82%A4%EC%BD%94%EB%A7%8C%EB%8F%84%ED%9E%9D&ff=realm&fv=Azshara&select=%EC%B8%A0%ED%82%A4%EC%BD%94%EB%A7%8C%EB%8F%84%ED%9E%9D

It is Hunter Ret Priest!

With a paladin like sexykommando two dispels and retarded damage output, the opportunity to kite through traps, nearly impossible to dispell freedoms and bops because of priest buffs and grace, makes this a true nightmare and explains why this team is rank1 with above 90% win ratio on the best Korean BG.

We played very bad players with it and the damage on either me or my priest is just not healable and its pretty hard to kill anything with the tools they have to escape and negate dmg and cc.

How to beat Beast Cleave?

Well it´s actually quite simple.

You cant really cast frostbolts as mage vs hunter pushback on you (icy veins gets purged pretty fast) or the shaman open to shock / grounding / pushback with hits and wolves.

So what can you actually do as mage that helps you win this comp?

CC the paladin and negate dmg with line of sight and do instant damage on a target or get good enough positioning (los to shaman) to cast frostbolts.

Invisibility works great versus wolves and it´s good if your priest and rogue are able to los damage aswell.

You can either go on the enhance to negate damage or on the hunter to negate damage or kill the paladin in a switch with DF instants nova imp cs instants to kill him after bubble, but that’s all pretty hard because of the dmg they can pull out, but you can win most teams that way, but how to beat check six who are good at it?

Spec Hunger for Blood!

When we played beastcleave we just let our rogue spec Hfb and stick on the enhancer the whole game, I don’t really need to dps the shaman that much, if I just negate dmg and cc the paladin my water elemental some instants and priest damage are enough to kill the shaman, so give it a try at mlg, cant be arsed to see check six getting 2nd place behind SK.EU!

Of course it´s not all that easy, but for us every beastcleave became a joke, but you need alot more for this, like versus good paladins you need to pull the shaman and hunter to you so he has to leave his pillar for polys and and and.

And the obligatory MLG Predictions

1.SK.EU

2.Buttonbashers (yes hiren will make the difference)

3.Fnatic

4.SK.US

5.Complexity

6.Check6 (their place depends solely on the rmp and what strat they will use :P)

7.EG

8.Complexity DKLD

Peace

Thats why you furiously curse at him I guess? But anyway I liked the Blog even though I disagree on some statemants you made.

Ret/Priest/hunter is a good comb, but nowhere near as good as you make it sound.
Also going HfB as a rouge in rmp doesnt really counter BC. If they are good they will just switch to the rogue after his first evasion, or still just stick on the mage whil controlling the rogue with traps (Considering the BC plays with paladin for HoF on the Shaman).

If the mage plays as defensive as you wrote they could aswell just kill the priest with a nice switch.

On and I am a little disapointed not being mentioned here even tho I HYMNED you not so long ago :(

Its a okay blog in the respect that there hasn't been one of these in a while, and every other main blogger has been copying Pookz's blog from a few weeks ago talking about class roles and play against specific matrix's.

I agree with you though.  These are always extremely subjective based on very limited views of other players.

I dont think he said it was good overall, although i suppose it ain't bad. I played Paladin/Paladin/Hunter in s6 and pretty much every team with a mage in was close to free points. The only comps that gave us trouble was potter cleaves (because of the warlock) and RMPaladin because of the offensive bop. When you factor in that we had neither any offensive dispels or mass dispel i can easily se how this comp ****s all over mages of any kind. Its very easy to scatter trap a priest and since he has to trinket it the rmp now has 15 seconds to kill something before you scatter trap the priest again (as mm, 30 as surv) effectively ending the game. There is no ******* way a mage is surviving ~13 secs without healing against that setup.

A good feral druid can prettymuch oblitherate a mage in mere seconds with some decent procs.
I personally think that if a good feral had fought flyn during his duels he could have said goodbye to his 10000g :)
