Gameriot has been around for roughly 8 years, many of you don't know this but it was once very underground and only for developers and professional gamers. It went public after a bitter split between Thresh and rage. But enough of boring history, lets get on with the top 5 greatest blogs blog!

The makings of a great blog

I believe what makes a great blog or contributes to a great blog is the community, the comments. That is what a blog is all about right? It's not some ***** ass news post, it's something that is put up to be critiqued, discussed and flamed. A good subject helps, something simple or something melodramatic, whatever can grip the reader into thinking you're a prick or a bad ass, or both.

#5.  Enter the Yiska

In this blog of massive German testicular fortitude, most of us saw it here first. What is "it" you may wonder? Remember Swarm? LOL just the very name brings a smile huh? Yeah... Swarm vs Serennia, nuff mutha******* said. Yiska also has a hot sister who i'd like to ram with my American Keilbasa. My hat is off to the "Trollsiblings" Yiska and Yiskette.

#4. Step up then Fools

Ok, so this blog might be a little bias, only because it is mine, but I had fun doing it. The best part about it is no one wanted to get some. Not one person wanted any of this, so they just threw a few comments of petty **** talk but I was right there to smash em down, ez as pie. Good overall blog IMHO and one of my first.

#3. The Neilyo Song

Honestly, Slappywag produces many good quality and usually funny blogs, so it was kind of hard to figure out which of his to use, but I knew I had to agree to one of his. This song was a instant classic and although he tried to prove he wasn't just a 1-hit wonder with the sequel, "The Hunter Song", I believe that ultimately failed. So we'll just pretend that song never happened and enjoy The Neilyo Song blog by Blackrock's finest, Slappywag.

#2. Vir rape's TehJerk off of Gameriot

Most of us who have been here on Gameriot for awhile remember TehJerk. He is fairly legendary in a sad and pathetic kind of way. It's really hard to understand how someone could be so ignorant of so many subjects like TehJerk was and not be a troll, which he wasn't in the traditional sense. Sadly, the dude never made sense and we all continually gang banged him off of the "island" with Vir's blog as the final blow. Hilarity ensues with comments... and then theres Lusitania posting a pizza picture right after Faction posts.

#1. Jasi ***** up the Phuoc

Everyone likes a good drama blog, right Ming? I mean, that is how Ming accomplished his goal of becoming e-famous, through drama blogs. The only problem with Ming is that he's kind of hit a block in his own e-celeb status. Everyone knows what to expect from him, he's very predictable and no one really believes him anyways (Estelol). But then we have his protégé, Jasi who has been saddling up with Ming for a long time now. Jasi, has a much different approach to his methods of blogging, he rarely goes for the drama blogs, he is in it purely for the experience of writing actual credible content with substance, whether that is always the case is another story. So, Ming decides to add another protégé, Serennia. We all know who this guy is, always surrounded by drama, a good WoW tactician, always plays the most overpowered class at the time but isn't someone I would worry about if I ever had play a real game of skill against, like Quake or CS (he back peddles). Serennia, who always seems to have trouble and problems playing with others has always seemed to start **** with Jasi. Whether it is out of jealousy or he just wants to be the new #2 on WoM, that is another story. Well, Jasi finally had enough and decided make Serennia shut the Phuoc up once and for all, and he did. Everyone seems to enjoy a good Serennia beating, but this one probably takes the cake.

You know, I had to add this in, thanks to a comment by Phyzik. I totally forgot this blog and blogger hero, point selling champ from Tich-Alliance, Mortale. I'm not sure if his name is pronounced MORE-TAIL or MORE-TULL, but regardless, the dude can pump out some good ******* blogs. And this one in particular, after reading it again, cracks me up. The best part of that particular blog is him "tracking down" players that have been subjects in Neilyo's videos, aka "JK IM THREK". Mortale also has a few other oldie but goodie blogs, worth checking out.
