I'm posting this out of a journalistic obligation towards my readers (rofl). I always try to be as informed as possible when making blog posts about anyone in the community (not!). So anyway, I hope you enjoy her reply. Make sure you bring your popcorn.

First of all, you obviously didn't do ANY research on me before posting this blog. My name is L337Lauren to begin with, not 1337... I've been gaming since I was 5 with my twin brother. I've always been a little competitive becase having a twin brother to play with all the time, it just was there. I've have got every system practically that's come out since then. We have always been really into gaming. Around age 12, I got into PC Games and my first online game was Army Men online. I've been competing in local tournaments for the fun of it because I never had the money or sponsorship to go to CPL, WSVG(I know it's dead now), or MLG's.. I've been playing CS since 1.3, and I know the game. I wasn't put on the cal roster just to "look pretty" I actually have the dedication and desire to compete with everyone else. Have we ever spoken on irc? I don't have the loudest mouth because I hardly speak to people unless they PM me... so you just threw that in there to get more harsh things said about me. My irc fanclub I use to talk with friends who like to 10 man and scrim or just talk about games/things. I took the time and money out of my pocket to travel to the CGS combine to check it out and PLAY in the tournament to get the chance to be put on a team. No I wasn't drafted as a player, but I was picked as a taxi squad member, which still gives me a chance in the game.... did you bother showing up to the combine? I wish I was playing CS but I wasn't ona team at the moment so I just did DoA-Female.Maybe if you just youtubed a little of the shows for CGS, it's an awesome chance to become known and have a fun time while earning the title "Pro gamer" which a large percent of them out there with to receive. Have you actually PLAYED cs with me? I bet you haven't... Did I never get around to responding to your messages on myspace? Because I sure do try to respond to everyone.. I don't see myself as "famous" but I play with many people so my myspace just happened to get flooded with messages. I did't ask to look like I do, though everygirl likes to try to look their best for pictures. Most girls post MTV stars or club pictures all over their myspace because it's what they do, yes I will always have gaming layouts and things because it is what I love to do. You can say I'm bad at video games or make fun of me but keep it to yourself because I bet I'd kick your ass in any FPS...


Okay have I ever SAID anywhere that I'm a hardcore raiding/pvper? NOPE. So you can rate my wow characters which ever way you like. I love to play wow.. to sit in vent with friends and quest.. I leveled casters because I love casters, ever since everquest it has been my favorite type of class. I think my gear if decent even though it's not full teir 6 or season 3 ... I still play wow for FUN and I don't pvp often, and I'm NOT a hardcore raider.


Let me break down Miss Video Game for you because you didn't even look that up either. It started in January 2007 when friends linked me to this site. (www.missvideogame.com) So I decided to check it out and realized there were hundreds of girls on there already so why not sign up too, it's kind of a catchy name. I signed up and over a few months they had a voting because way to many girls signed up (over 500 girls worldwide) the voting required an Email and you could only vote once. They did the voting to narrow it down by popular vote to 50 girls. After a couple months I came in first place with a little over 1,000 vote(which shocked me). They there was an online CS1.6 tourament that www.titanstrike.com put together. I went undefeated throughout the brackets which put me into the finals. The second place girl was also put into the finals. Then they decided to have 3 wild cards(which means they have girls enter an essay to why they should be in the finals) for the girls who REALLY wanted a shot in the finals who participated and didn't win in CS. So the finals came along(in Monreal) at the Arcadia Fesitval(www.festivalarcadia.com) which isn't just some hole in the wall... It's like a smaller version of E3 but in Canada. We were put in a 4 star hotel(each of us in our own king size rooms) and we had a great time! There was 5 games in the finals over the 3 day period. first day we played Mario Kart 64 and Guitar Hero 3. Next Counter-Strike:Srouce and Brain Age 2 on DS. Since I'm a very well rounded gamer, I've played/own all of these games(we didn't know what games were in the finals until the night of the MVG orientation) and I won all 4 of them. Last day was Nascar 2008, which we played against the AI instead of people. I didn't win that one, but I tried of course. I won 1,000USD, 500Canada money, and a 7 day all expenses paid, in a 5 star hotel getaway in (city), (country) which I'm leaving (date) to attend.


"Now, what I'm wondering is who's nuts were in that big mouth of hers when she got CGS drafted." Now that was just so immature. I would never ***** myself around to get gamer's to respect me. I NEVER have and i NEVER will. I actually flew to CGS Combine by myself and stayed with myself JUST so I could compete and meet people in the community. It was also awesome meeting gamer's I play with online or know of from big teams face to face.


If I could have one quote to always say, as most people do, it's "It's better to have friends then enemies" --- I know it's korny but it's true if you think about it. That's why I'm taking my time to message you back behind the public to give you a little imput on myself, because I did not like the post. Yes many girl gamer's are bad at video games... but ever think maybe they just play them for FUN. Isn't it better to have a girl that wants to play viva pinyata over watching MTV Cribs and whining about their hair or something... I play most console games for FUN, I play PC Games mostly to COMPETE but also have fun with them, I loved FEAR, STALKER,  Tomb Raider, Oblivion, portal, cod's, bf2, mark of chaos, cnc3, crysys, ut2k4, q4, alis, r6v, gr2, ut3, cs, dod, ..... the list goes on......... I Love games.. always have and always will. I'm even in my second year of college for Computer Animation and Game Design! I didn't really have time to read your full message, as I'm quite busy with school and my business. However, I'd like to apologize if I offended you in any way. The article was obviously a silly joke and I poked fun on the most prominent "girl-gamers" in the community. There was no research whatsoever involved, I can assure you of that. I don't "hate" on girls, or on you specifically. I promise I'm a very chill guy; again, if you took it to heart and were offended you have my deepest regrets...


That reply sucked... what I wanted to say was: I didn't do any research. Anything I post on GameRiot will never be my Doctoral Dissertation. Get trolled.

In conclusion
It turns out I'll never get laid over Gameriot. That's a shame, I was really looking forward to some hot, steamy blog-sex. Next up? Myspace.
