Gran Turismo 5 is part of my personal trinity of games that includes Final Fantasy 13 and Half Life 2 Episode 3 that still don't have release dates yet are near the top of my most anticipated list.  The former two at least have Japanese dates so that is a start.  GT5 is expected in Japan around March of next year and hopefully shortly there after here in the States and Europe.

Bioware isn't resting on its Dragon Age laurels.  Hot on the heels of the fantasy-rpg early next year will be the sci-fi based Mass Effect 2 and with most high profile games there is also a collector's edition in the works.  January 26th in North America and the 29th in Europe is the release date for this highly anticipated sequel to one of Bioware's key franchises.

I don't think I have ever seen a string of success like this since EA was in their prime pissing people off weekly.  Somehow Infinity Ward has taken one of the most anticipated game launches of the year and managed to drop a deuce all over it forcing a lot of people to question how much **** they want to put up with to play the game.

DirectX 11 and its subset of Direct3D 11 commands has officially launched and what you need to know is that so far the graphically improvements are impressive.

Philadelphia Phillies star Cole Hamels had and interesting public service announcement for all you Modern Warfare 2 fans: "avoid random grenades, they are for *******".

The funny thing about this clip isn't just that they got a Major League Baseball player to drop by for the announcement, nor is it about how bad random grenades are.  The PSA is the best part.  Apparently Infinity Ward and Hamels by proxy are in support of F.A.G.S., the fight against grenade spam.
