So grab yourself a pop or a beer and sit down and enjoy some Fallout 3 action courtesy of Gametrailers, hold on, better make it two of said pop or beer as there is a lot to watch.
Yes, this is a mature game and all the videos have the warning. No *****ing!
I love the "scenic overlook" sign when you first come out of the vault, haha. The V.A.T. targeting system adds a unique spin to real time gameplay and some excellent gore flying body parts style. The world looks incredibly detailed and I can't wait to delve in to the rumored 100 hours of gameplay.

If it was within my power, I would have everyone employed by Bethesda brutally and viciously murdered. Probably everyone who like their games, too.

I wasnt a huge fan of Oblivion, though it did look pretty.
The gameplay in this however looks far better, and I dig the FPS/RPG cross.

I abhor the fps cross more than I can express with words. It is not like every other game you can shake a stick at isn't an fps, of course they have to steal one of the most awesome rpg-brands too. God I hate this world. And I hate fps. If I wanted a ******* fps, I would ******* buy and fps, not a supposed rpg.

Bethesda is a great company and look forward to more of their games. They are up there with Blizzard and Maxis as far as I am concerned with companies I will spend a dime on.
Oblivion was the ****in ****. Fallout 3 looks like it will be too.

Just say it out loud. You sound retarded. "Can I have a Pop!"
Also, "Can I have a Sprite Coke?"Â Also retarded.
Middle yellow area is odd.

You think it sounds retarded because you arent used to hearing it. Half the country says pop.
Soda sounds weird to me as I am not used to hearing it.
This isn't cut and dry

Now that I've seen all the videos, as an avid and long term Fallout fan, I am pleased with what I see. I paused the game constantly to check out the minor details. The perks at first seemed disappointing, but they were only the first level perks and you get perks every level, unlike the previous 2 where you got a perk every 3 levels. The skills, being the firearm, energy weapon, science etc, seem to mostly be true to what they were in the originals. Which is both good and bad. Some of the skills in the older ones were a little less useful or useless than the others. But they have said and demonstrated that they will be useful. So its probably all good. The nuke was awesome.

Looks great.
I hope that's the ingame music - it really adds to the post apocalyptic atmosphere

I miss the isometric view. The game still has a nice feel and atmosphere, so I'm looking forward to it, but man, do I miss the isometric view.

No thanks. Far too many FPS, camera chase and full 3d games around as it is.

I don't miss the isometric view. I play Fallout 2 still... lol
But yeah, the isometric view was unique for an RPG and much unlike strategy RPGs. It had its RPG advantages. So does the first person view - namely being able to actually observe the environment without staring at the ground all the time. BTW - I was playing some today and I just blew up Gecko's atomic reactor, murdered everyone inside, returned to vault city and reported to the First citizen, and when they tried to kick me out - I murdered everyone in the city... thats what I loved being able to do in the classics.

You think it's possible to go see what the newly bombed site looks like? As in it makes an actual effect in the game world forever? If it is. I think it'll be crazy amazing, in terms of what you choose to do in the game... Also, I think nuking all those characters that have all those hours of dialogue is just hilarious... poor hard working devs...

That was pretty astonishing. I actually didn't watch the 5th video until after I had posted this and I was quite blown away, no pun intended.Â
That would be pretty sweet to be able to go back into town and see what little is left.
