Thanks to some fast playing of Bioshock on the Playstation 3 we have some cam footage of a Bioshock 2 teaser.
The new game is apparently titled "Sea of Dreams" and a bonus for beating the recently released PS3 version of the game is this teaser. We have known for some time that there would be a sequel and this is the first media out in regards to a follow up.
If you are looking for action or any key storyline points you have come to the wrong place. There are few things actually going on, though you do see what appears to be a Little Sister as an adult with one of her favorite toys in hand. The rocks pushing up through the coast line seem to have some sort of significance. Maybe the sea is changing drastically? Hopefully the water concept isn't abandoned for the typical above ground shooter motif.
Could it be a prequel instead of a sequel? I never went back and finished up the game as I lost my saves before the final fight and after the "big reveal" I was kind of "meh" as it was. The gameplay was enjoyable however.Â

Bioshock had the best atmosphere since HL2, so it's going right at the top of my wanted list.

Agreed there. The atmosphere was fantastic and one of the key selling points of the game. A nice cross between a system shock and a half life type vibe.Â
I will probably get around to finishing up the game eventually, though I may try to snag a save file as I don't want to play through to the reveal again, because lets face it, it is kind of pointless once you know.

I think I have heard somewhere that there was going to be a Bioshock prequel, but based on the fact that the little sister is an adult I'd have to say this will be a sequel. In other news, I can't wait for the game to come out.

There was talk of a prequel. She does seem like an adult, unless she is some sort of "big sister", who knows really.
I think the more telling point is the doll of the big daddy. Almost as if it is a tribute or a homage to the big daddy, maybe they are gone now after the first game, and the doll is some form of remembrance?Â
Wasn't killing "all" of them an option in the first game?Â

the only drawback was the lack of different kind of enemies which got me a bit bored in the end i think. Storyline and atmosphere were great as mentioned already. Looking forward to part 2.

I'm really interested to see how they will continue the story.
I thought the first one was complete in itself, with no continuity to its story.
I didn't see any loose knots in the end.
The whole concept, and story of the game was amzing.. atmosphere and gameplay was incredible.
I'm a fan, and definitely excited for the second one.

Cool beans, gotta get the first one. Played the demo on Xbox Live some creative ****. Lot of doobies went into the making of this one.

Bioshock was very average for me. I found it incredibly boring and
predictable, and easy. Perhaps the easiest FPS I've ever played. The worst part was, I payed for it in a drunken bout of randomness
