Bioware Practicing Their Force Powers; New Kotor In The Works? *Updated*

After letting Obsidian Entertainment dabble in the ways of the force with Knights of the Old Republic 2, it seems Lucasarts is bringing the franchise back home to Tatooine so Uncle Bioware can get back into the fold. Thanks to Kotaku on the find, here is the image:

Yes a new title, presumably Knights of the Old Republic 3, is seemingly in the works from the crew at Bioware. In a press release today from Electronic Arts various titles from EA's studios were listed, as such, so were new titles expected from Bioware who was recently purchased by EA. On Bioware's list to do was Mass Effect, Dragon Age, KOTOR, and a New MMO. Well Bioware hasn't worked on KOTOR in over 4 years so it is safe to say this should be a new title from the newly acquired by EA studio.

While Obsidians KOTOR 2 wasn't a bad a title, it did fail to live up to the near perfection of the original. Needless to say this is great news for fans for the KOTOR series. Hopefully we will get more details in the near future.

**UPDATE**

EA told Shacknews today that while KOTOR was listed, it may not necessarily be in development.   Apparently some of the games listed are just to show past titles and pedigree of the shown studios and may not necessarily be on the horizon.
