I am a huge movie buff, with a sizable collection of DVD's, Blu-Ray's, you name it. From time to time I like to read movie scripts before they come out or old original scripts.Â
Anyways today I came across Quentin Tarantino's latest script from this epic World War 2 movie he will be shooting later this year named "Inglorious Bastards". If you are a fan of QT you know he has been kicking around this movie idea for years and the script is now a reality and was sold to Miramax this week. He talked for years of getting Willis, Stallone, Schwarzenegger for this huge epic movie based around World War 2 though current casting rumors are talking Brad Pitt.
Here is the summary from Wiki:
The Bastards – a group of Jewish-American G.I.s led by the scarred Lt. Aldo ‘The Apache’ Raine – are a guerilla army going through German-occupied France exterminating and scalping Nazis left and right. When they decide to spare a Nazi’s life, they carve a swastika into their foreheads as a reminder of what they were once the war’s over. At the same time, Shosanna Dreyfus, a young French Jewish woman who watched as her entire family was massacred, has come under control of a small Parisian theater. When her theater becomes the location for the premiere of a German propaganda film produced by Goebbels, she devises a plan to exterminate all the Nazis in attendance, in particular, Col. Hans “The Jew Hunter†Landa, the officer who had her family murdered. The Bastards, assisted by German film star Bridget von Hammersmark, have a similar plan – Operation Kino – in mind. The stakes for all parties are raised when Hitler himself plans to attend the premiere...
If you guys have an attention span long enough to read this thing, it is massive, you can download it at rapidshare in two parts.Â

I apologize for bigging up Reservoir Dogs for the fiftieth time in about a month on this site, but people really do need to stop going on ****ty movie dates and start appreciating Taran.
You need educating, boi.

Reservoir Dogs was filmed before Pulp Fiction. And appreciate him for what? He's a hack, stuck plugging ****ty excercises in style with his name and praying for another 1994 golden egg. When Tarantino makes his Godfather part II, Citizen Kane, There Will Be Blood or 2001, expect me to refrain from pissing off the fanboys by reminding them of a painful truth. Until then, keep those warm lips wrapped around the guy's flacid, washed-up ****.

Besides the obvious classics you mentioned above, what movies do you feel are better than Taran.'s or what movies within the past 6 years do you like?

You like No Country for Old Men, but not Quentin's movies eh? Something wrong here. Good list though.

How can you compare most of those to Tarantino's tongue in cheek movies? Are you ******* serious or what. Most of the movies you say here are so serious I could quote Joker when thinking about them.
OH AND LOL BUMP.

Death Proof is about the worst movie I've ever seen. QT lost tons of respect from me after that (not to say I was a big fan before). I can't put any faith into this movie.

I dis-agree 100 percent. Loved that flick. Combined with Planet Terror was one of the best cinema experiences I have had. I actually went and saw Grindhouse twice. Its not the worst movie you have seen, trust me.

I didn't really have the patience to sit through 75 minutes of chicks chit-chatting and a 15 minute car chase where an armored stunt car is fleeing from a regular car. Imo, QT's style of dialog completely failed in that movie and actually made me like his other movies less. I have a hard time enjoying Kill Bill these days.
