Keeley Day is here and my heart is full of overwhelming joy!  If I was in to show-tunes I just might sing one (no).  Not just over Keeley however as tomorrow starts my vacation and the GameRiot Blog will be on hiatus till later next week.  Don't worry I can still keep tabs on the crazy spammers and porn posters thanks to the Motorola Droid I am going to pick up in a bit here.  :)  +1 for Soccer brutality!

This story almost brought a tear to my eye so it is leading off tonight (thanks Trinh).  A dying 6-year-old girl who's family kept her unaware of her condition had been writing love notes (hundreds) and leaving them all around the house for her family to find.  They are still finding them to this day almost as if she knew she was going to die from the brain cancer and wanted to leave something behind.  Very cool story and something uplifting to start your weekend.

A Brazilian man woke up
one morning to find out that people were attending his funeral and he decided to show up.  It seems a local man dressed similar to him died in a car crash and was badly disfigured.  Some of his family identified the body even though others had their doubts.  Family gatherings should be a real hoot for these guys in the future... "remember that time you ******** thought I was dead?"

The glorious Keeley ladies and gentlemen.  Keeley with her top on just isn't fair, so here is some NSFW.
Milla Jovovich is Tweeting like crazy over the filming of Resident Evil: Afterlife.  There are a few spoilers here and there and I know I am like one of two people on this site that doesn't mind these flicks so you can suffer this post and check them out if you like.

It seems the nutty Army doctor/Major is still alive after the shootings at Ft. Hood today even though for most of the day the media was under the assumption that he was dead.  It seems he took four bullets and was eventually downed.  He now lays unconscious and on a ventilator and isn't expected to die.  Good, death by bullets would have been too easy for this son of a *****.

Auto execs feel
that the government needs to push gas prices towards $8/gallon to motivate people to buy their more fuel efficient vehicles including electric-based cards.  So they profit greatly over the years thanks gas guzzeling vehicles but now that the government is pushing them for fuel efficiency they want us to pay for their procrastination?  Sounds like a fair deal to me, where can I rush to fill up my tank for $150?

The Men Who Stare At Goats looks mildly amusing though it doesn't have great ratings at Rotten Tomatoes.  Capone at AICN gives it a nod however and if I am bored this weekend I may go and catch it on a matinee.

Brock Lesnar has mono and now the delayed fight from UFC 106 to 108 will now be pushed back even further.  I had mono once back in elementary school and it was horrible.  I can't imagine trying to be a finely tuned competitive athlete while dealing with it.  Hopefully all is well come spring/late winter and Brock can get back in to the cage and pummel Carwin for talking ****.

Tonight's video would make Vinnie Jones proud of women's soccer.  Check the ass kicking these girls hand out (mainly that Lambert chick) rivaling the brutality we will probably see on the Fedor/Rogers fight this weekend.  Via DeadSpin with my own backup link:

"Her parents hope to carry her message and her example in their newly-published book Notes Left Behind, a series of their journal entries during Elena's last months"

the cynic in me thinks that the parents are exploiting their dead daughter >

I am going with total fabrication, but that may have something to do with all the scams that have been going on of late.

I laughed my ass off at this.  If gas was that expensive the auto industry would be a total **** storm.  Obviously these are American execs that make the comments.  American auto companies make the best decisions and suggestions right?  That's why they are doing so hot now.  Lol.  Bunch of un-ntelligent worthless *****.

Got a Moto Droid yesterday after school. Absolutely satisfied with it. I'd recommend anyone on big Red go and grab one.

Definitely agree.  Have you tried signing in to this site with it yet?  I dont think our browser settings are updated yet to allow it.

I might write a bit about it when I get back next week.  Awesome phone so far.
