UFC 100 is next Saturday and you expect a full preview from me in the coming week. For now you can feast your eyes on these Lesnar-Mir back and forth quotes from a conference call today. You can expect the penis-tattoo to win this fight, I am calling it now. Brock is too much for Mir.
Apple's iPhone app store is the talk of the town hosting over 50,000 apps now. The problem is Apple isn't always in control of the content after it posted on the app store. Today news of "child porn" on the app BeautyMeter was talk of the town. Some 15-year-old girl posted an image of herself nude and uploaded it to be rated on to BeautyMeter aka a iPhone version of Hot or Not. Apple of course doesn't allow porn on their apps (a market waiting to blow open) and this certainly isn't aok regardless. Surely Sammy Braddy to the right gets a 10... a 10!
Honduras is standing tall in the face of mounting concerns over the removal of their dictator-in-the-making president. The USA government has apparently lost sight of what a democracy is and has condemened the coup. Honduras has noted they will not "cede to pressure form anyone". People are acting like this was some sort of 3rd world rag tag takeover or something. This was decided by not only the congress but their supreme court as well.
Bruno is back in the news, much like I suspect he will be for the next few weeks. First there is a bit of controversy over an apparent reshoot of the films ending. And on top of that a school district chief is pissed off that his football team posed with a scantily-clad Bruno for a GQ photoshoot.
The Huffington Post has been trash and continues to be trash. News Busters takes a look at what the HuffPo likes to call "news" which most of us call trash reporting. Hell, the Epic Drop is sourced better than most of the articles there.
This is a pretty sweet look at the new skywalk that just opened up around the Sears Tower in Chicago. Pretty amazing view that is for damn sure. I wonder if we can tour the place after a day of drinking in Wrigleyville?
We always get shafted, or is that lack shaft, when it comes to commercials here in the states. We can barely slide Go Daddy commercials by but other countries get great stuff like this:
And once again, don't forget to vote about Fox Friday if you haven't yet. It is looking pretty gloomy for Megan, seems she may be stuck with random appearances.
Options 2-5 all count towards ending Fox Friday:

How is the poll going to be interpreted? Is it most votes, or will you take the top two and have a run off?

that might not be a bad idea. I was just going to pretty much end it at this rate as more people want it ended.

I'm gunna laugh if Lesnar gets caught by "Mur", but I see Lesnar overwhelming "Mur".

You are so one sided to the right its stupid. You use sources just as bad as the Huffington Post, if not worse. Some of the right wing links you've chosen to use for your epic drops have been laughed off your blog.
I don't really read the Huffington Post anyways, but i find it funny how hypocritical you are when it comes to one sided viewpoints. Also the odd thing about the Huffington Post or maybe its just that website, but they've gotten video links i've been linked over to there that you can't find anywhere else with some things. I can't remember specifically what they were, but i know they had some popular videos there that were taken down everywhere else, or just unedited origiinal versions. Its happened more than a few times.

Oh they had the ARtie Lange - Joe Buck thing when it was being taken down everywhere else. There was some other crap too. i think they had the early Iraq terrorist sniper footage from their car also.

Oh btw, I could be crazy, but I was watching a replay of Brock/Couture and it looked like they were calling spots to one another.

You smart ass. btw, I'll probably post about this tomorrow but I'll mention it here as well. I picked up tickets to see at Evening With Kevin Smith at UofM, Ann Arbor, super excited for that.
I'll put a gentleman's wager that Lesnar wins. Though I don't have a good bet for you overall

Yeah I liked the spot where Randy called for him to get flash ko'd then pummeled on the ground.

Mir implied he was down for a "F5" to give the fans what they missed last time around, so you can definitely look forward to that. Will he answer the three-count?

Hopefully Lesnar doesn't ***** out and tap to Mir like he did last time...

That was merely inexperience at the time. He could have powered out of that last leg lock but he just didn't consider using his leverage.

Yeah, probably. So, do you like Lesnar? And why'd you call him Penis Tattoo? I don't get it lol.

Ya I am lesnar fan. "Penis Tattoo" is a on going joke about the massive sword on his chest that he added after leaving WWE. Everyone calls is a big phalic symbol and the next logical progression was "Penis Tattoo".

**** yeah, another Lesnar fan
. And I figured that's what you were referring to, I suppose it is rather phallic lol. I kind of like it though (inb4gayjokes).
Hate how all the Lesnar haters ***** about him getting his title shot on what, his 4th match? Doesn't matter if you ask me, if he can demonstrate that he deserves the shot and can win, which he did.
Don't get me wrong, Mir is a great fighter, but as you said, I think Lesnar is too much for him.

Him getting the title shot didn't bother me, but I kinda rolled my eyes at the match, considering Randy Couture is really overrated, and a 1-dimensional wrestler that loses every other match. It was no surprise that he would lose against - omg - a stronger wrestler.
I was thinking a couple other fighters could have defended the title if they had it, but Randy was definitely going to lose.

Oh, I agree. I had no doubt that Randy would lose. He's a great fighter, but against somebody with the athleticism and strength of Lesnar, he really had no chance. I don't see Lesnar losing this title for a long time, unless he just ***** up hard in a fight. A great heavyweight, with potential to become one of the best as he becomes more experienced imo.

I'm not certain about this next match. Frank Mir now knows what he's getting himself into fighting Lesnar, and I think that will help him a lot. He's been training FIERCE for this fight.
On the other hand, Dana has given Lesnar a LOT of time to train, considering the guy is able to train up the wazoo with his schedule. I wonder if it's enough skill to grant him a victory. Skill + body = uh oh.

Yeah, that's the one thing I don't like. Lesnar goes months between fights. He's my favorite fighter, and he rarely fights lol. I agree though, Mir has done a lot of training for this fight, and he's capable of beating Lesnar, but I just don't see it happening.

The lack of fighting isn't lesnar's fault, blame ****** Dana, he controls all of that. On average Id like to see these guys fight at least every three months but Dana is content to let many of them fight twice a year and it pisses me off.

Yeah, I know it's not Lesnar's fault, and that it's Dana's. Pisses me off >.>

Brock is still developing as a fighter and Mir has zero idea on far he has came since his last fights. Thats why in the comments he has says hes has been training for the worst. But he really hasn't a clue and gameplanning for someone so new to the sport isn't going to be easy.

Pft, planning is overrated.
Rely on your strengths, exploit your opponent's weaknesses, and try something new if one thing doesn't work. That's all the planning you need.

Thats what Kimbo thought...
Seth Petruzelli was probably a better example of relying on his own strengths; Seth stood up and fought with KS because because he's a badass karate puncher and he knows it.
