Epic Drop 8/5/09: Penis glued to stomach, Russian subs, Arena Football closing, ZuneHD, Free Madden, District 9 review

Welcome back for another night with the Epic Drop.  Last night's poll is back and will be for the next few days until we have a final tally for Friday's chica.  Tucker Max's "I hope they serve beer in hell" trailer shows up tonight and lets just say I'm not impressed.  +1 for mystery girls!

When your cheating gets out of hand and your penis ends up glued to your chest, you might have a problem.  A married Wisconsin man was cheating with three other women but his plan unraveled and he ended up with a vertically standing wang thanks to a dose of Krazy Glue.  The woman are all out on bail and from the looks of them they can really land some classy guys in the future.

The Arena Football League is closing down.  I was never a passionate supporter but I enjoyed watching it from time to time especially live here via the Grand Rapids Rampage.  A lack unified support from owners around the league to bring it back next year was the ultimate death blow though a weak economy surely didn't help.

Looking to get Madden 2010 for free?  Well its free with a $50 purchase of a half of year of Sports Illustrated.  Honestly it doesn't get much better than that if you planned on buying it anyhow.  $10 off and 28 free issues of S.I. if you want to look at it that way. 

I picked up a new toy over the weekend.  This new model of HP laptop was $200 off after rebates and for a 17" screen, 3GB ram, a free Win7 upgrade and a 2GHz Core 2 chip I couldn't pass it up.  This is the first laptop I've owned that wasn't a review model or a work system. 

Hollywood Reporter has a review up of District 9 for those that want to check it out.  The review is glowingly positive and things are looking positive so far.  I may check this out and possibly G.I. Joe this week as online reviewers are still raving about that.  District 9 is out next Friday.

Our Russian "friends" are getting a bit frisky sending two patrol subs over by our eastern coast.  Is this a penis measuring contest courtesy of the former world power?  Seems like they may be pushing Mr. Obama and seeing just how far he will bend.  If he is wearing those mom jeans I think it will be quite far...


The debut trailer for "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell".  This doesn't look like it comes close to the story as far as humor and the movie looks like some low-rent Comedy Central movie.



Since that wasn't all that funny here is the coolest 7 year old of the past month.  All because he didn't want to go to church.
