Word on the street today is that there are cut scenes that approach 90 minutes in Metal Gear Solid 4 says PSW Magazine which is out today. 90 minutes, multiple scenes? Damn, bring it on. This doesn't bother me at all. There is a lot of details to clear up this Snake, Boss, Liquid, Solidus, Ocelot storyline. (You can also pause and skip the cut scenes, great for dinner time watching!)Speaking of Metal Gear, Kojima has stated that the series will likely continue under the Metal Gear Solid brand with a 5th title, not featuring Snake. He also feels it is a must that Kojima Productions is involved with the next game, though he may let someone younger produce it.
Valve talks Left 4 Dead, Steamworks, and microtransactions with Shacknews today. They note that L4D is pretty much done, they are just tweaking the game for a release later on this year.
Capcom wants to be the Marvel of movie production in the gaming world (please no, we can only handle so much in regards to bad video game movies). I don't have high hopes for this next Street Fighter Movie, but you never know, maybe it is Capcom's Iron Man. *laugh*
Madden 2009. I know we all hate EA 90% of the time, but it is the only NFL licensed football game. I may not pick it up this year, but that doesn't mean others wont too. Gamespot had some time to sit down and get some hands on with EA's biggest monopoly. New ways of measuring player skill, new camera angles, better player animations, are some of the features noted.

No problem. Of course, now it reads like Ming. "90 Minutes Cut Scenes" ... ? I would have changed to "Minute" myself.

Mmm I'm getting more and more anxious for Left 4 Dead. Also interested to see how this whole Play-4-Free model plays out.
Thanks for the links.

That game is a perfect example of it. They have an american version, but the beta has expired I guess. I am familiar enough with the menus to play the Chinese version, Popkart. But this is the general idea, give the game away, get them to buy added extras.
