Kotaku has posted 8 new images from Capcom's upcoming Street Fighter 4. These are the first images we have seen of anything other than basic attacks.
I have to say the lighting looks pretty bad ass. Clothing, body parts, etc. all seem to reflect the light from the Hadoken. Impressive, most impressive. I still wonder when we will get to see more characters and stages, but in reality I probably shouldn't be a greedy bastard and just be thankful that it will eventually come to a next gen system near you and I.
In the mean time check out some Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD news over at Ars Technica. It seems the game and all its 1080p graphics are going to be a pain in the ass to squeeze into the 150MB (lame) download limit over Xbox Live. The cap was increased for Symphony of Night so surely they can do it for Street Fighter.
If this ends up giving us a nerfed Playstation Network version so it fits into the 150MB cap on XBL I will not be a happy camper. If Microsoft wont expand the cap for Street Fighter then at least bring the full fledged version with all the goodies to the PSN.
We should see SSF2 HD out sometime this year, and SSF4 possibly late this year though I would guess next year would be more likely.
