XBL: Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Beta Coming

Good news for you Xbox 360 owners, assuming you want to spend $10 on Commandos 3 via Xbox Live. It seems a beta of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, (say that five times fast), featuring only Ken and Ryu will be available shortly after Commandos 3 comes out. Buy Commandos 3, play SSF2 beta, simple enough.

The goal is to test and tweak the online SSF2T HD Remix game play. As we are seeing with various other online fighters like SSBB, cross country online game play isn't quite perfect yet. Hopefully this beta will get all the bugs out.

The sad news being, no word on a Playstation Network beta, or a final release.

More good news comes in the form of the beta lasting around 8 weeks. So, once we know the release date of Commandos 3, we can extrapolate the fact that 8 weeks or so after that we could see the final release SSF2T HD Remix. Couple this with the announcement that the Evo Championships will also have this game in August, and that players will need time to get acquainted to the new game; we should see the final release of this game between May and July.
