We showed you a new style of keyboard yesterday from Belkin and today we visited the Zalman booth and something immediately caught our eye, the FPS Gun. While Zalman is notorious for normal hardware like fans and coolers this was a interesting change of pace for them creating a periphrial. The gun acts like a mouse in the sense that it has a optical sensor and tracks on your desk/mouse pad/etc. However as you can see it also looks kind of like a joystick. There are two trigger buttons that act like mouse1 and mouse2, a scroll wheel which resides right where your thumb rests, buttons above your thumb which can act as mouse3 and mouse4.

In all honesty I chuckled when I first saw it. But after playing some Unreal Tournament with it I was quite impressed. My only complaint was the texture of where you gripe it, something a bit more sweat resistant would have been a better choice.

Fixed guys.  Sorry the tubes are pretty clogged here and internet is a scarcity at the hotel.  But there the gun is in all its glory!
