Midweek morning news is here for your reading pleasure. I will be busy today because Obama is in town, and I am going to grab my snip... kidding... I would much rather have him than Hillary. Anyways I am voting Libertarian, so I could care less if he is here! On with the news!
EA Mythic, developers of the upcoming Warhammer MMO, says World of Warcraft has made making MMOs that much easier. He notes that most MMOs that have come out since WoW have been successful.&nbs… More
Friday is finally here and with that comes the latest edition of the morning news. I promise it won't be as long as these rumored Metal Gear Solid cut scenes...
Word on the street today is that there are cut scenes that approach 90 minutes in Metal Gear Solid 4 says PSW Magazine which is out today. 90 minutes, multiple scenes? Damn, bring it on. This doesn't bother me at all. There is a lot of details to clear up this Snake, Boss, Liquid, Solidus, Ocelot storyline.&n… More
Valve keeps on chugging along in the world of innovation. Today at their Steamworks event they announced Steam Cloud. It is kind of a weird name but in essence Steam will store you game saves and key configs within Valve's servers allowing you access to them anywhere, and forever.
Have to format your hardware and don't want to back up your game save games? Don't worry Valve will take care of it. On reinstall you realize you have to re-map all your keys to all your games to… More
Apparently even Al Qaeda isn't above stealing someone else's hardwork. A US defense contractor noted a image of Washington D.C. in complete shambles via some recently found Al Qaeda videos titled Nuclear Jihad: The Ultimate Terror.
The imagery was thought to be created by Al Qaeda in a what-if scenario based on nuking Washington D.C. However anyone who has seen the imagery related to Fallout 3 from Bethesda would probably recognize the post apocalyptic D.C. images. The me… More
Morning gaming news is here for your brain to consume, read on and enjoy!
Capcom has confirmed that Street Fighter 4 will be playable online. I don't think many are surprised in this modern era of online gaming, it was to be suspected. However they also noted to Famitsu that the home console versions will feature additional characters that are not in the arcades. Bonus!
... And this is the rumored final boss for SF4, enter Seth! … More
Welcome back for another late night Epic Drop. The video tonight will probably make you want to beat someone, so just be forewarned.
Comcast's website was apparently hacked earlier yesterday. Always funny to see these big corporate sites, especially one with a history like Comcast, get a little mud on their face.
This guy pulled off a Superman 2/Office Space'esque heist and may have gotten away with it if it weren't for those meddling kids, kidding. He did pull off the cap… More
Next Generation has a interesting piece up with PlayXpert CEO Charles Manning today. I had never heard of this software but it sounds pretty cool and works within virtually any PC game thanks to DirectX.
Most of us know know that Alt-Tab in most modern games is a pain in the ass. Even I, with a really good gaming PC, still have issues with Alt-Tab and recovering back to my game; it is a resource hog. I use 1GB of video memory, and 2GB+ RAM and still have issues.
Some things are just better left alone. One such thing is the latest DS remake of Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff. On top of that there are rumors it may be on the way too the Wii as well.
And why should you stick to, dare I say emulation, and not check this out? The lack of Bo Jackson of course. Tecmo Bowl without Bo is like apple pie without the apples, or Girl Scouts without cookies. It just doesn't make sense! Even though he isn't a part of the NFLPA, they couldn't get… More
I have some great stuff for you guys to read up on tonight to keep you abreast of the world around you. Tonight's post is highlighted by John Stewart talking about the man keeping Hillary Clinton down.
It sounds like Eddie Murphy will be making a return to uniform as a Beverly Hills Cop. Part 4 is apparently in the works and apparently Brett "I do Rush Hour Movies" Ratner is set to direct the old school buddy cop series.
These cops in New York are under the gun for supposedly watching … More
