E3 beings Monday and the gaming news is coming in fast and furious.  The good fast and furious, not that Tyrese crap.  I will be continuing my Pre-E3 series as well with the PC edition, hopefully later tonight, surely sometime this weekend.

First up there are a bunch of release dates to announce for some highly anticipated games later on this year:

Batman Arkham Asylum
- Coming in on PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 August 25th.  This is the new date after the game was pushed back from June.  Collectors Edit…  More

Welcome to another edition of my E3 preview, the second of four.  Today's features Microsoft and the Xbox 360, potential announcements, rumors and what we can expect from MS at the E3 conference the first week of June.  I covered Nintendo last week and Sony and the PC are upcoming.

I gave Microsoft the announcement of the year at last year's show via stealing away Final Fantasy 13 exclusivity from Sony and making the game multiplatform.  At this point I think Microsoft needs another killer anno…  More

This is part three of four of my Pre-E3 series highlighting next week's E3.  Nintendo and Microsoft were already discussed leaving the granddaddy of them all, the PC, for this weekend.  I will be covering Sony's plans for the next year, E3 expectations and what we can hope to see at the show.

Last year I felt Sony had the best showing at E3 even though Microsoft stole the show with their Final Fantasy 13 announcement.  Sony brought better games and like Kotaku has shown they pretty much lived up …  More

Bear with me if I am a bit out of it here on Fox Friday.  I was told some pretty shocking information and its been on my mind all day.  I will blame any spelling and grammatical errors on said news.  It is of course the Epic Drop and even better, Fox Friday.  +1 for that.

A user here on GR passed this story along as he goes to this high school.  Fairfax High in L.A. elected a gay male as their prom queen.  Some folks are calling this forward thinking and tolerance, personally I think it is quite …  More
A bit late on the Epic Drop today thanks to some intermittent internet issues.  Enjoy the stories, post your own and join the nightly discussion.  +1 for Star Trek hotty

This idea of a national value added sales tax (VAT) disgusts me.  If we werent continually spending out of our ***** there would be little need for such a thing.  And now to top it off you want me to subsidize everyone else's health care, when I have my own, via higher prices across the board?  Screw off...

This is part one of my four part series leading up to the Electronics Entertainment Expo, aka E3.  I'll be covering the big three consoles; Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony and of course the PC as well.  We are going to take a look at potential announcements, games that may be shown off and expectations when it comes to the four platforms.

Nintendo had a rough E3 last year.  Their conference was lame at best.  I easily rated it the worst out of the big three in my E3 wrap u…  More
Yes loyal readers I am back from that strange land some of us call "down south".  Thankfully I was not hassled by pick up-driving, NASCAR-wearing folks down in Tennessee or South Carolina.  However there were some strange people in the mountains near my Yankee grandparents.  The Epic Drop is back +1 for Cameron Diaz slippage

Proposition 8 was on the end of another smackdown in California this week courtesy of the state's Supreme Court.  They voted down the assertion that Prop 8 was a constitution…  More
I have so much I want to do (unpack, play InFamous, play the TF2 update and work on my E3 stuff) but there is plenty of interesting news to cover in the past few days so here is a little update with some random gaming news.

InFamous hits stores today
.  My copy is sitting on the title screen and I am itching to play it.  Reviews have been solid so far with the game holding a 88% on Gamerankings.  I should have a review sometime this week or next.  My impressions were pretty high after the demo how…  More
