All these Epic and Legendary drops are making us a bit complacent, don't you think? So I figured I'd throw in a trash drop while Slapnuts isn't looking. (I'm not asking for your +1, I'm just bored and feeling rather snide.)

In order to be a proper blasphemer, I've somehow developed an adoration for goats, and thus I find any news about goats to be rather awesome. Apparently, a Seattle-based company called Rent-a-Ruminant will loan you a team of 100 goats to help clear off excess brush at an exceptionally efficient rate. The article compares the use of goat-power to the clever use of pencils (versus ink pens) in outer space by the Russians. Whatev, because either way, goats rule.





Scientists in South Africa have discovered a new species of dinosaur with some interesting anatomy (well, interesting to geonerds like me, anyway). From what they say, "the Aardonyx celestae was a 23-foot- (7-meter-) long small-headed herbivore with a huge barrel of a chest. It walked on its hind legs but also could drop to all fours." The best part, according to their imagery based on the skeletal fossils, is that the dinosaur looks as if it is forever rushing forward in urgency. Awesome.

If you live in Australia, this weekend is your last chance to attend the Irresistible Gluten Free Food Show - this one's in Sydney. Attending a food show is always a good idea, for all the amazing free food (and drinks, of course). A gluten-free show is pretty impressive, though, considering how most people didn't even know what gluten was until very recently. Being a gluten-free pastry chef, this really appeals to me - unfortunate that I'm nowhere near Australia. If you don't know what gluten is, enjoy the (probable) simplicity of your eating needs.




If you love hairless bodies as much as I do, you may be interested to learn about bears with alopecia. Okay, so it's not exactly alopecia, but these lady-bears have lost all the hair on their bodies, excluding a few tufts around their faces. The poor girls are drawing crowds full of gawkers and mockers, but bears need love, too! Personally, I think they look rather snuggly and adorable (but the skin rash part is kind of gross).
