I got a chance to sit down with some awesome new downloadable games on the PlayStation network earlier at the show. Here's a couple titles worth your time. |

It's not every day you see a girl at a technology convention playing the original Super Mario Bros. on an HDTV. If it's not quite an oxymoron, it's one hell of a conversation starter. |

Kitt of Knight Rider fame.
A custom kit job.
Side view. This car has never met a speed bump it didn't hate. Look at its clearance!
Hood shot of a suped-up BMW M5. Like it needed more suping.
A beautiful Lincoln Continental.

So, I had people asking for a "best of" broken down by console and an attempt to pick the overall best. I can do that. Why not, right? Everyone else does it. As such, I present to you what I consider to be the crème de la crème of 2008. With that out of the way, here we go! Best PlayStation 2 game: Persona 4 (Atlus)  Admittedly, the PS2 didn't have the most amazing year in terms of releases, but that doesn't particularly matter. Persona 4 is basically the best exclusive for the PS2 since Sha… More

Jason Killingsworth from Paste Magazine just posted an article today detailing his picks for the "7 Best Video Game Trailers of 2008." In this year-end ranking he stated that the main criteria a trailer would need to have in order to make his "Best of" list is that it must leave "you doubled over on the floor, panting with anticipation, chewing nervously on your wallet in hopes that $60 will magically emerge just in time for the game's release." Check out Killingsworth's list and see if any of … More

Sadly this is my second Soulja Boy-themed post of the day and even more disappointing is the fact that this story has to do with him triumphing in a gaming challenge against MTV Multiplayer writer Stephen Totilo. Â As many of you already know Soulja Boy is the self-proclaimed god of everything on YouTube so it only seemed natural for him in his limited class to also boast his gaming prowess to the entire world in an official YouTube gaming challenge. I personally tried adding him to my friends l… More

We all know that Adam Sessler's decision to give the X-Play "Game of The Year Award" to Fable 2 was a bit a out of the blue and in many regards controversial, but it seems that Attack of the Show's Kevin Pereira has personally taken it upon himself to call out Sessler's questionable decision. Pereira thinks that Fallout 3, LittleBigPlanet or Left 4 Dead would have been better choices. What do you think? Â Â Looks as though Sessler will have a chance to defend his "terrible, terrible mistake" on … More

As with the prior installment, the first five entries are the best of the year, whereas the following are ones that didn't quite make the cut. The Winners! Persona 4 (PS2): Though it might not be their last PS2 game, it's going to be a feat of strength to release a title that can even compare to Persona 4 for the aging console. With superb characters, stunning visual design, and an incredible amount of depth, Persona 4 really delivers where most of the next-gen RPGs are managing to fail. Sure, w… More

Well, sh*t! Just when I thought I had found a Xbox 360 title that was relatively untainted by the majority of soulless LIVE users I come across this video. Up until now, much like Gus, my Left 4 Dead online experience has been nothing but positive. I know it may sound unbelievable, but ever since I picked up this latest Valve title I have experienced mostly cooperative teammates, minimal trash talking, and last night I even managed to have a half British half American team who didn't end up talk… More
