Apparently, one of the undocumented changes is that Shamanistic Rage was changed so that it was no longer considered a magic ability (which means, it can not be purged off or mass dispelled in any way).
Although this alone doesn't sound like much, it certainly is a step in the right direction, and shows that Blizzard really does intend to throw us Shamans a bone (specifically Enhancement, which is well deserved imo). There is still the problem with Shamans lacking gap closing abilities (or more specifically anti-cc), but perhaps the totem changes are going to try and make that easier as well.
It's not much, and this Shamanistic Rage buff alone isn't enough to feed the starving Shamans desperately looking for some love (the ghost wolf buff is nice as well, but it won't address our biggest issue, which is cc in general). But for the last several months Shamans have felt like the abandoned unloved child, and it appears as if our father (Blizzard) is finally acknowledging our issues.
My shammy senses are tingling, and they are saying that these first two subtle buffs to enhancement shamans are not the last. I expect to see more revealed as time passes. It's also possible that I too hunger for Enhancement to get the buffs it desperately needs, and am blinded by the facade that Kalgan has created.
Either way, I guess only time will tell.
PS: This is also my first blog, finally came up with something worth blogging about. If people like it enough perhaps I'll continue blogging, god knows I need a place to QQ aside from guild chat. =P
A blog where I talk about random stuff (WoW related).
