I re-specced back to a high damage output SV build (5/5 MT etc) and my 3v3 team shot up to 2650 last night (2nd in the BG), I've also noticed 5s teams with ever increasing focus on defensive affliction scrubbing which is especially painful as MM/Destro.
I will say this however that there are teams where MM definitely has a clear advantage but from my experiences the over all quality and reliability of SVs output shines in more situations than not.
An example from last night was Pal/Destro/EleSham we fought a few times and I was playing extremely defensive. The 1 shot luxury explosive provided me allowed me to get off my damage while peeking out from behind LOS and while being constantly mobile, as MM I'm forced to give up optimal positioning to give myself opportunities to chain 2+ globals together. Even without the ability to readiness another deterrence or double disengage out of range of people SV feels like it has a higher chance of survivability because of the positioning it affords you. As long as I concentrate on defensive CD management and don't freak out and blow ROS/det/BMasters on the first instant I get locked down in a fail safe attempt at preventing a death I've been able to cycle CDs in an efficient manner to keep myself up.
We'll see how this holds up against our biggest competition in the BG the R1 wizard cleave (druid/warlock/mage) and the now R3 cleave of destro/ele/paladin. Facing off against 2 quality wizard cleaves as a hunter vying for that number 1 spot should prove to be anything but stress free.
If you asked me what I thought marks needed I would immediately respond back with a revamp to the chimera shot talent. Ever since the viper sting change the shot really lost it's luxury as a versatile multi-role shot and some simplicity and stream lining would be much appreciated.
Remove the serpent sting requirement for bonus damage
Make scorpid sting it's own disarm shot on a 1 min CD
Remove the viper sting refresh
Base what the shot provides off of the aspect the hunter is using rather than the sting on the target.
Dragonhawk = max damage
Viper = bonus mana regen with medium damage
Currently the tree suffers from a serious case of mana management and GCD management and these changes would help in both of those areas.

The fact that is self explanatory does not mean it does not sucks

Its self explanatory that Levidian will always push for more hunter buffs regardless of their validity

Everything I post has validity or works to bring abilities into a more manageable/more easily balanced state. There is a reason why I pushed for wyvern sting, viper sting, and now other stings like scorpid and serpent to undergo changes because abilities that are really really good in some situations and really really bad in others make balancing impossible and work to create hard counters.
An example of this (while the 2v2 bracket isn't that important it proves a point) is hunter/healer vs mage/priest. Before the hunter team literally hard countered the other team because of viper sting and now mage/priest can and does beat hunter/healer variants because they're not held down by an ability imbalance.

any explanation why hunters are the most hated class of all times?

Because despite how effective they are most people are of the opinion they are extremely annoying to fight and thus annoying to lose to.
Most people consider fighting against them as annoying
Most people consider them skill less (which can't be any farther from the truth for non BM specs)
Huntard stereotype
Combine those things and hatred develops.
S5 hunters got up to like 10% across the board (which isn't OP(based off rep) by any stretch of the imagination but the popularity did rise and thus the hunter complaints did rise. More people were losing to hunters and more people were voicing their disgust in the idea that they could even lose to a hunter.

Levidian is too much of a scrub to play MM, has to play dumbed down SV and autoshot people to death with his skill-less class.

I've been gladiator in S2 , S3, S4, S6 as MM in multiple brackets, I can get gladiator in S7 as MM easily but I'll probably be SV based off performance.
Try again.
Try again.

I dislike hunters because they act like their class is so ******* hard. Ive played a hunter, its different but not more challenging than other classes. Theres plenty of terrible hunters who get gladiator every season.
Yeah Cherez and Megatf are really good players, but they maintained rank 1, not rank ******* 30. Every gladiator hunter likes to pretend that hes gods gift to WoW and spamming his CDs is so ******* hard.

Na just pointing out it wasn't as bad as people tried to claim. It was no different than the warrior mace stun era or any other over tuned spec in wows history.
Hunters agreed it was too good and were in agreement for many of the changes including viper nerf, wyvern nerf, and tnt nerf.
You can try to twist my words if you want though.

If you think that because rep was "down" that hunters in S5 was justifiable then you are an idiot. (or the idea of LOL ITS CUZ HUNTERS BEATING PEOPLE MAKES THEM ANGRY) That is like saying pallys being in the cellar raped by husky men named bubba all of TBC made holy and ret fine in S5.

Where did I say anything about rep justifying hunter power in S5? Why did you even bring that up? Is it because you didn't really have an argument so you had to try and pull in some random snippit about something we're not even talking about in an attempt to build some tiny platform to stand on?
Yes.
Yes.

I don't know why do you waste your time reading his blog if you never like what he has to say.
Too selfish.
I like reading his blogs and if I didn't like I would just ignore it.

Got to totally agree with this blog, getting stings off before you got gcd to Chimera Shot is just annoying and more and more teams seem to be aware of this.
Everything PVP hunter related.
