Here are the things that I took into account when picking the videos:
Editing:
Was there enough editing so the video wasn't some bland highlight video, but subtle enough so it wasn't overdone.
Music:
Was the music enjoyable to listen to, did it fit the movie, and most importantly did the director find ways to mesh the music with the action
Content:
Was I spending the entire video saying "No way, how did he do that" to myself with my jaw hanging down? Did I see things I had never known were possible before? Also important was that it was against top players in situations where something was on the line (matches etc.)
Impact:
The video needed to have a profound impact on either me or the respective gaming community it was a part of. Whether it set the standard for editing, and content, or introduced me to my new favorite song.
Without further ado here is the countdown:
(Disclaimer: these are my own opinions feel free to post your own favorite videos as there are sure to be some that slipped under my radar that deserve recognition)

mouz 2008
HD stream: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGGKXeR_TMs&feature=channel_page
Only reason I came across this video was because DchozN was paying respect to one of his favorite editors on his youtube page when I was looking through DchozN's work for this post. The music was great, the frags were great, the editing was great, it was just a very very well rounded video. It didn't overstay its welcome at a very short but not too long 8 minutes, and I didn't find myself getting bored by the frags like I do in many singular team or player highlight videos. I will definitely be on the look out for more videos by Michael Weicker

Reptile the movie
Download: http://www.teampandemic.net/movies/25
Ya I really don't have much else to say about this video other than when I first saw it my jaw was floored the entire time. This set the gold standard for soldier play at the competitive level, and Reptile is one of the reasons why pandemic (now compLexity) has been such a dominant force in the TF2 scene. The editing and music was also well done and subtle enough not to interfere with the amazing frags

DchozN - Pistol Project
HD stream: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcQBIttGvbw&feature=channel_page
I knew I had wanted to include DchozN in this countdown somewhere because well he is one of the best cs movie editors of all time. He is one of the few editors who can put in heavy amounts of editing and still not ruin scenes. I simply picked this video because it ended up winning him 2,400$ in the gotfrag pistol video contest. My only complaint is that the video is extremely short, however it really just personifies his overall editing style which is why it made it over any of his other longer videos.

Rage of Albis
Mega Upload Link: http://warcraftmovies.com/download.php?id=27383&mirror=3
WCM Link: http://warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=27383
I was torn between this movie and Clazzi's wicked mage movie for a WoW spot but in the end I went with albis because after all this movie was the reason I rerolled a mage prebc in the first place. Albis is one of the most well known movie makers through vanilla wow and TBC. His editing (both movie and UI) were top notch and he introduced me to two of my favorite musical artists (pendulum and celldweller). There is also something to be said about him going out of his way to hunt down the best / well known players on his server that earns him some respect. "There's nothing fair about who lives and who dies" is probably my favorite thing in the entire video and then it transitions into him fighting the best warlock on his server Connact.

Annihilation
own-age.com Link: http://www.own-age.com/vids/660
Fileplanet Link: http://www.fileplanet.com/136060/download/AnnihilatioN,-Quake-III-Arena-Video
I wasn't sure whether to put this or Rage of Albis #1 but I ended up going with this. The reason why is when I first saw this video close to 5-6 years ago I could not believe me eyes. The mid air rockets just had me floored, and these players were clearly on another level than most gamers. The editing was great, the music was pretty good, but what I really enjoyed was the multi kill frag scenes from matches between big teams (D|S m19 stickmen ck etc..). This movie gets a lot of bias from me because it was the first amazing frag movie I ever really had the pleasure of watching so I kind of have a soft spot for it.
In closing I'm sure I let some awesome videos slide under the radar so feel free to post / link your favorites in your comments and I will be sure to check them out and let you know what I think.

never post here but i play competitive cs and this list is kinda teh suck. Go watch n0thing but headshots, ruination, hard clan, and a bunch more i dont feel like listing. dchozns pistol project shouldnt have won the gotfrag competition either. He used extremly overused clips.

I saw nothing but headshots, i liked it but it didn't do it for me. I've played cs since like 99 so I couldn't remember all of the good videos I've seen. Like I said if there is something you liked post it.

5 and 4 don't work. 3 was too short. And 2 reminds me of why 60 WoW raped. Anyone who says 60 WoW wasn't the golden age of WoW is full of ****.

the quality of frags in nothing but headshots is probably top 3 of all time in cs movies.

The quake 3 moviemaking scene is SO above the rest.
Annihilation is fantastic, but nothing rivals Get Quaked 3 an Tricking IT 2 in their respective fields.

See this is the type of discussion I was hoping to invoke. Please don't take offense to my choices if you don't like them, it isn't like I'm trying to pass this off as some definitive list, i simply wanted to post what videos always stuck with me, and hopefully discover some awesome videos other people come across.

I really enjoyed the original Fooze UT movie, for me it was really among the first of its kind and really pushed the envelope for gaming movies.

In regards to some of the comments above though I really do feel the Q3 & RTCW communities were a class ahead in terms of good movies, although the TF movie linked above was pretty awesome

I frequent sourceradio.com alot to check out the videos, and there are a ton of gems there that seem to be missing from your list.
Just off the top of my head the Synced series is phenominal, despite some hate towards it that it has too much editing, The Funeral series, Surreal series.
These are just CS:S movies alone, but I find in terms of quality and editing they generally come out on top.
I reccomend checking out the site as they have a massive database of game videos, and really good quality for stream purposes.
