RIP Micheal Jackson King of Pop

Just caught wind of the news that Micheal Jackson was taken to the hospital after suffering cardiac arrest.

Although the article only has info on the cardiac arrest,  however I've heard from a lot of people that he did indeed pass away.

Even though more recently he was surrounded by scandals and foul play I think we can all agree he was a pop icon in his prime.

The past two years have had many deaths of very famous people who had a profound impact on our society (Carlin's saddened me the most.

With that said I'd like to pay tribute to MJ by leaving up my 2 favorite songs from him, don't stop + thriller.  Both spent many days as my ring tones.





With that said I'd like to share one of my Micheal Jackson related stories.

In High School I played club soccer pretty seriously and we would constantly travel around the state for soccer tournaments.  One of my favorite places to play tournaments happened to be Disney's Wide World of Sports complex.  This particular tournament on the way up for some reason Dont Stop kept coming on the radio on the drive up so naturally with like 5-6 of us in the car we were all singing along because soccer players are pretty well known for acting hella gay.

Anyways on the second day of the tournament we were all getting ready for the game on the field, then all of a sudden Dont Stop comes on the loud speaker.  We all stop what we are doing and start dancing and singing like idiots.  We ended up having a huge group of people stop and just stare at us.  I know it sounds corny, but because of that tournament that song always has a special place in my heart.
