This is you!

You're a gnome mage and new to arenas you say? It's a big world out there, so let's get right down to how we can help you tackle that nasty, mean arena all with enough time left to eat that wonderful meatloaf dinner your Mom put on the table!
But where do we start you ask? Well my friend that's an easy answer! We start with talking about the "skills" you need to be able to win at the arena game! Will said skills pay the bills? Why yes, you'll be a good, hard-working American yet!
So you've heard of this Arcane Barrage skill, but want to see what it looks like in action. Never fear! We have a little photo here to show you what you can do with this simple little button placed on that clean action bar.

Fun! Who doesn't like clouds? That's right, champ, you're well on your way to being an all-star! Be sure to remember when that shiny button flashes every 3 seconds that it's time to hit that space bar and jump in style. That's it! It's always good to look your best when displaying your amazing talent.
Example!

Doing well! What's that you ask? Certainly there has to be more than can be done. Absolutely! Look closely and you'll see that you can throw balls of fire the size of a truck at will! With 30% more destruction included! Haha, that's right buddy, life is always good. Those Ruins of Lordaeron arenas can get awfully cold!
Oh no, someone gave you a boo-boo? It's ok, tiger, don't forget to encase yourself in unbreakable ice for 10 seconds. Will it hurt? Only the people who were foolish enough to try to focus on you!
With this little lesson you're ready to head into the highly skilled world of arenas with a bounce in your step and a heart full of gold. Remember that PvP is about skill, and finesse, and nothing says finesse like a big flaming fireball and arcane barrage in the middle of the air while spinning into an iceblock! Nothing but 10s from the judges!
Congratulations! The meat loaf is fresh on the table. Your parents will be so darn proud to see how well you're doing. So enjoy that meal, you've earned it! Being so good requires a hearty meal, so eat those greens and get good rest. Good mages like you deserve it, and give this tutorial a nice +1 for helping you become so awesome!

These blogs are generally light-hearted and for lulz. If you took it seriously that's your bag!
Not like people can fault mages for speccing that way, and it's not like the spec supplies more options for them.
So laugh, or take it seriously!

I will say it's rather less difficult to kill a Warlock or a Priest, and they can't even fight back!

You talk like it's hard to beat an arcane mage.

No I'm pretty sure any half decent rogue can smoke any half decent mage.

The only reason people downvote you is because your comments look like you opened up the pages of "generic WoW ******* tough talk" and tried to pretend it was unique or that it made you somehow cool.

Arcane mages are probably the most broken thing right now with wow, maybe rogues. At least resilience helps against rogues slightly...only slightly.

sorry but nothing comes close to deathknights. Arcane/mut/BM are all easily killable. DK/paladins have just as much damage (just not as front loaded) and far more survivability/utility than is warranted.

And it's only not as front loaded because they're Unholy. Blood has completely ridiculous frontload potential with DRW.

Frost is amazing, but frost can still be somewhat controlled and in that sense it is balanced. Putting pressure on a frost mage dramatically affects their damage, which I feel is good design because it is very costly to pressure a frost mage and a good frost mage can handle pressure very well.
Arcane however, is not as strong or well rounded, but puts out way to much initial pressure and there is almost no way to mitigate it. Yes, PoM is avoidable with grounding/clos/iceblock etc. but you can't really rely on grounding PoM every game vs a competent mage. A well geared mage can crit pyro for over 15k on a heavy resilience target followed by 8k+ blasts and all of that damage cannot be mitigated by pressuring them.
Arcane is not as strong as frost but is still a gimmick spec that is far from balanced. They need to put a lot of work into arcane to give it more options and make it a more well rounded spec.Â

A frost mage also has a LOT more survivability than an arcane mage, hence the tradeoff.

Really I just saw the picture of the dude in his underwear and I couldn't help but think of jumping AP/POM/PYROS.
To Capstone: this isn't a complaining blog. It's a joke. For fun. For laughs.

Maybe I just have ADD, but short light hearted entries are always great. More and more people seem to be writing a thesis on QQ these days, army of mini-Jasies.
Then again with the way this contest is designed it is only natural, being unable to downvote blogs means people like gib post about how awesome scartching his ass was yesterday to get money.
Allow blog down voting and give it a long cooldown, like say 12-24 hours or something, heck you can even make it so that blog likes can't go into the negatives or below the +1 starting point.
