The reasons behind the changes are fairly obvious; a horde of people signed up, with even more missing the deadline or unable to get a spot because they were taken. That was enough to make the CGS reconsider how big their online qualifiers were and how long they lasted.
So, if you have any desire to play either of those games professionally, I suggest you grab a spot while you still can. In the worst case scenario it's a good playing experience. The best case scenario could end up with you on a flight to Austin with some financial help courtesy of the CGS.
And in the super-duper best case scenario, you'd get to meet me at the Combine! What more could you possibly ask for?
Good luck to everybody!
