Highest offered connection speed: 1.5 Mbps
Actual Connection speed at 9:00-ish Pacific Time, with no download clients running, no internet browsers running, and no programs updating:
Yes, that's right, apparently my ISP can't even crack triple digits on some nights.

I dunno what the fastest offered is, or even what my connection is (they randomly upgrade it from time to time).. but my download speeds run up to 1400kb/sec majority of the time.

Even though I have Comcrap I can't generally complain about the speeds. I can't use the killer nic I got for testing purposes behind my router or my speeds suck. But on my Nvidia onboard lan I get great speeds.
Supposed to be 8MB down 1MB up, but I boost upwards of 14-16MB at times.

I see a lot of folks with Comcast putting out some sick speeds. Makes me kinda jealous, although it isn't as big a deal since the latest upgrade I've gotten, can't really ask for more than nearly a meg and a half a second DL speeds.

I use bittorrent like the world is running out of data. :-p
Just crossing my fingers for the day when comcast rolls out DOCSIS 3 and we get some massive speed boosts. The spec is final, but they are waiting on hardware to be finalized.
FIOS wouldn't be half bad either.
