Witch Hunters vs. Witch Elves: Will Population Be An Issue?

These are the two "stealth" classes in Warhammer.  They both have a limited stealth capability which is intended to let them sneak behind the enemy lines and wreak havoc amongst the lower-armored support classes in the rear.

I'm not going to break NDA and discuss specific class mechanics here, so we will leave that for a later discussion.  My intention is to examine whether the witch elf being a female-only class will effect the population balance between witch elves and witch hunters.

Fact is, most gamers are guys and quite a few guys refuse to play female characters.  Now, of course, there are some guys who do play them because they actually appreciate the way they wiggle when they kill someone.  Steve (let's call him) a few nights ago uttered this gem of a quote over vent.

"That's right.  Give it to them you filthy little *****."

We are worried about Steve...  and the children that might live in his neighborhood.  So, yes.  There are perverts, like Steve, that will play a female toon.

There are also those (typically your more hardcore PvPers), that will use a female toon because it, traditionally, offers a smaller target... looking for every advantage they can get.  But, that really doesn't make a significant difference in a tab targetting game like Warhammer.  Nonetheless, many of these players have grown so used to using female toons in other games that it might carry over into Warhmmer.  But, will there be enough of them?

So, what's the problem then?  Well, the problem is that I've never heard some guy say something like, "WTF? Roll a male toon?  That's GAY."  But, I have heard the opposite, many times.  From my personal experience, I think people who like the rogue archtypes are more likely to cross-dress than the other archtypes.  However, I don't think there will be enough of them and that it will cause a population inbalance issue between witch hunters and witch elves.  In turn, that will make life much easier for Order support classes than Destruction support classes.

So, what do you think?  Do you think that the witch elf being female-only will cause a population inbalance in the stealth classes?
