According to himself he also uses some quite aggressive methods of trying to get some dollars. Apparently he worked out some strategies to get more visitors, as he self describes it; "bumped into the feed = more likely to get new visitors. Not that I mind, I was just joking with Roma.".
But still, how is the sudden rise of about 10 000 more visitors in the past 3 days possible? Does he have Chinese in his cellar clicking his blogs every two hours? Is he an ingenious programmer who made software acting as chinese? Or, a more terrifying explanation: DO PEOPLE LIKE HIM BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE?
So please people, think before clicking one of his blogs, do we want his behavior to be reinforced?
And on that bombshell I'd like to add; Roma Victor, pax romanum, ave caesar, spartacus and more latin words to trigger people to go click Roma's blogs.
Disclaimer;
I'm not gay and Roma is also already taken. I like quality, so I try to get Vir to make some more decent stuff instead of being instant action drama sensation seeker.
Vir don't feel offendend, I hope this is called constructive criticism.

No idea but his tired digg repost crap gets annoying. Gameriot sucks these days compared to what it used to be, even if the game has gotten stale.

Just as with Blizzard I like people who keep adding new content instead of me having to read the same stuff on worldofraids.com, gameriot, my guildforum and so forth.

Vir definitely lacks in the content department as far as quality. Sure has some hot trolling posts, and I actually agree with many of his opinions. He is more intelligent, I feel at least, than much of his content suggests.
Roma's writing is by far the best thing to come out of this content, and were it based on quality and not hits, he should surely win.
This jump of Vir's the past few days is quite interesting, I am curious to how he has pulled it off.

this just in: gameriot devs don't care about content, they just want unique views. vir's politician blogs, the wow porn xxx bull****, and that napoleon ****** are perfect testaments to this.

I think quality will be a better choice in the long run than just a load of visitors.
The google hits work indeed, gameriot can be found quite easily, that would explane Vir's sudden rise in views then.

As you might have noticed I'm trying to give criticism, Vir can do much better I believe - and not making his easy score blogs.

Vir's been trying to abuse and berate me for around 3 years now. Sorry, he cant be more intelligent, he's just some dim witted kid who thinks he's top ****. And sadly, that isn't even true, because he's a grown adult. Maybe if he was a kid, it would be normal or acceptable, but for his case, it's just sad.

The amount of anger he can invoke in people over the internet is amusing, to say the least.

Invoking anger is not something hard. - as my title is provocative to get more attention, I could also have replaced the ? by a ! for more anger - it's not my style though.
I value content more over just invoking anger, so I'd like to see Roma get the 'award' - Though Vir should keep on writing cause sometimes he just hits the nail right on the spot, it's a shame though he has to hit the wood so many times before he hits the nail.

According to Ming's newest blog, traffic is still all it accounts for - apparently one quality article like the WoTLK information is enough to sustain at least 3 rubbish articles.

This post is way on. You know the quality control knob needs to be turned up on a blog when a writer responds to almost every post on his own blog continuing to reiterate his point or incite arguments based on his own ego.

i dont see how his blog can have that much more traffic, legitly. I usually read a whole load of the latest blogs in a batch, i dont see why anyone who just only pick out Virs blogs and ignore the rest, because they are crap. He isn't trolling and pretending to be a retard because he actually argues his pathetic arguments after every post. It's like arguing with a 12 year old. Then theres the fact that he seems to make 3 or 4 blogs per day, none of which ever get that many comments. I suppose his thinking is that if he can just flood the front page with his blogs, everyone will at least click on them before realising how **** they are, and other communities are getting some nice new gaming blogs.
