Now it's really no big surprise that the game would eventually come to the PC, but for it to come so soon? It's pretty understandable, since Rockstar didn't have any kind of exclusivity deals with either Sony or Microsoft this time around.
I'm definitely looking forward to all the crazy mods that are sure to come out for the game.

Why not? Strike it while its still hot imo, besides, Warhammer and Wotlk gonna bombard games store this November. If I had to pick between those 3 at the same release date, I'd cut off GTA for sure.

Rockstar's usual method is to release PC ports ~6 months after the PS launch.

I'd pick up a copy for the PC if they let us play with improved graphics.

I'd pick up a copy no matter what. I haven't tried GTAIV yet

Same here.
All these console games on PC is making me glad I spent the money for a gaming PC instead of buying a 360 or something. After playing games that look so amazing with AA and AF, then trying halo 3, it looks like a blurry mess =p

Hah, true. Besides, aiming with a controller in games like Halo, GoW etc. sucks. I don't think Id ever be able to get used to it.

Well, halo3 graphics suck any way you put it.
But a console still has more players to play against due to low cost of system and no need to buy updated components.

i loved the other GTAs on my PC, so why not? Sounds good. Then I can create a Joker main character instead and run around like a wild man.

There's a lot of crappy ports out there but the Grand Theft Auto games wouldn't be any of those.

* noun
the leading character, hero, or heroine of a drama or other literary work. In my case, it's mostly about role-playing games.
