As i stated,match wasent gonna be near that previous match when Spain let USAÂ team play its game and went loosing by 37 or something.Although match ended up by a difference of 11, 2 minutes before ending score was 104(spain)108(Usa) and gold looked pretty tight.
In final minutes rudy making foul on Kobe 3p shoot(3+1 points) and then 2 technical fouls by spain lead to the spanish team defeat.(Spain annoyed because of referee actions of not fouling usa players for making lots of traveling(traveling after bouncing,dont know how u say it,its something you dont have in the NBA as foul/violation so us players do it a lot actually)
Ultimately this is not a /cry,although i think Spain deserved the gold,usa did pretty well.

Quite the opposite!,i found it a very technical match( at least from spain side, it was their best change to win)

And so the complaining does come out in the end. I love how you dont mention the Spanish bench being on the court for a majority of the game, throwing towels, fits, etc etc and getting warned multiple times. Not to mention 2 late very obvious travels on Spain that werent called late in the game during a deciding time. The game was called fairly on both sides, stop complaining.

Didn't you know? The Americans signed a secret pact that allowed them to use dope and get away with it in the Olympics! Clearly the US of A are cheaters and should be banned from sports!

I didn't see the game, are you talking about a jump stop?
Basically they stop the dribble in mid air, then you land on both feet so you don't have a pivot foot yet decided, from there you take 1 step, making your back foot the pivot foot, and then a pivot foot may leave the ground with the ball, but if it touches the ground again then you got a travel. Most people who don't understand basketball think this is traveling.

I would love to hear how in the world is it that Spain deserved the gold. It was clear which team completely steamrolled through all their games, and it was clear which team won the final match. It's not like the US struggled and got carried by anything to get to the finals. How in the world is Spain more deserving of the gold?

Clearly since Spain played the game of their lives and still ended up short, they were the better team and deserved it, clearly.

Spain deserves credit for giving the USA its only real test during the entire tournament. Saying they deserve the gold is silly. The US was clearly the #1 team in this tournament, and being that Spain gave the US its only real game it could be argued Spain is the clear #2.
