Lyoto vs Rua come on, any idiot watching that could see Shogun was dominating every round, I will give Lyoto the 3rd round, but that's it. Rua really cant do anything but this is just a big disappointment and raises more questioning to the very faulty system the UFC is using. Examples, just go look at the Bisping vs Hamill fight, this is even more obvious then that was.

UFC is a joke now. Everyone that watched knows Shogun won that and he's the real champ now. **** those judges.

I watch mma like once a year, very casual fan here. I watched the Machida fight, i thought Shogun had it for sure. That's not gonna be good for UFC's credibility.

To those blaming the UFC system of scoring, judges and referees, please stop, The state athletic commission is who handles all that ****. Also, you can kinda see Dana telling Shogun he won that fight at the end. Shogun took all 5 rounds, total domination.
Another thing, Strikeforce and the WEC fight under the California state commission, are they a joke too? Stop overreacting saying the UFC is a joke.

UFC matches are mostly boring. Throw out the rules on not being allowed to strike the back of the head and they would be much more watchable. As it is, way to much time with people lying on the ground and covering their faces. zZzZz

Anyway, I think Shogun definitely won the second, fourth and fifth round, but I'd give the first and third to Lyoto. Not necessarily a complete shut-out, but I was obviously disappointed with the decision and a bit disappointed with the fight over-all. Wish it went to the ground.
Cain Velasquez has been a favorite of mine for a while and although I really wanted to see him fight Carwin before getting a title-shot, it's was a really dominating performance.
I've been rooting for Carwin for a long-ass time and I really can't wait for December. UFC 105 doesn't impress me much, but 106 will be excellent.

Also, pretty much any fight that spends 75%+ time on the ground sucks ass. Positional fighting like that is so lame. Put in a rule so that you can only spend like 10 seconds on the ground at a time.

i dont watch it very often, just offering some suggestions to make it not toss so much salad when i do.

The whole thing was mad boring except for the fat guy fight. But Rothwell would have lost either way even though I wanted him to win.

Shogun definitely won 3 of those rounds. I didn't expect him to fight so well but his patience was impressive. If it was explosive Shogun I felt Lyoto would have picked him apart, clearly Shogun came in with a better game plan.
WTB rematch, Dana confirmed one would happen next after verbal agreements from both of them.
PPV was pretty average otherwise and wtf is with Johnson not being able to make weight.
