Nobody really plays arena anymore either. Whats the point? TOO FUCKING LONG BLIZZ, make seasons last 1-2 months tops and give the top few teams a prize like a different tabard or an aesthetic trophy item or something, along with the titles/mount. Not every season has to coincide with a new bunch of gear.
People just sit on their arena points for one reason or another, it's pretty lame. Just introduce decay for teams that don't play a minimum of 10 games a week! (5% of rating or something)
People aren't even really playing on the TR for probably the same reasons as on Live... its taking too long. Fucking speed things up a bit already.
There are cat loving topless little boys all over the world giving up and interviewing themselves because BLIZZ doesn't really know how to balance even after 3-4 years.
The time that it takes for each "season" to complete (9 months) in both PVE and PVP of this game is the second stupidest thing to ever happen to this franchise.

i've hated WoW since Arena, i dont even blame TBC, i blame the emphasis on Arena more than anything for WoW's failing....and judging by the General Forums so do alot of other people.
i cant wait until next month to see a mass exodus since somethign else that is hopefully at least decent will give us options that arent outdated bad, really looking forward to canceling and listing Arena emphasis as the reason why i canceled...hopefully i can add a fukk you Kalgan in there too....

Yeah, arena killed it for me as well. I mean, it was a cool idea, but the game simply isn't balanced enough for that type of gameplay. I had to either be unsuccessful, or ditch my RL friends for a more favorable arena comp. It got to a point in which my RL friends and myself weren't even really playing with each other, and then we all slowly started to quit.

This is pretty spot on. PvE progression was quick and then cockblocked by Kael and the Hyjal/BT Attunement requirements. Arena seasons do take too long, I'm able to get 5000 points at least and I'm not on a good team or anything.

Balancing around arenas has been retarded because of blizzards tendency to over nerf and over buff things, especially when it comes to hybrids.

I think the problem is they don't really know where to start when trying to balance things. They just look at class representation and go from there, but theres other core issues that they should be fixing instead, not just an instant fix for hunters vs druids (or the like).
