After reading gameriot for almost 6 months, I thought it would be good to start my own blog here on a few things, as ironic as it is, i found out about gameriot through gotfrag lol.
At the moment I'm playing two level 70 Undead mages on different servers.
I can't say im really anything special but do have half a brain, which is more than what can be said about 70% of the WoW population at the moment.
As much as i love drama i think it's better left to other bloggers who excel at that sort of thing here.
Pretty much came to the decision after reading so much of Exitec's Blog and been hooked, underage girls + Kewn references > NBA + Naruto ANYDAY

My blog entries will most likely consist of talent builds for mages in Arena for all brackets.

One of the big frustrations recently has been mirror matches against other mages, due to personal preference I've always opted for Impact over Improved counterspell, despite been more suited to 5V5 arena I've found the interrupts far more useful.
most of the mages I duel are 17/0/44, Standard cookie cutter build that is believed to have the most damage, survivability and crowd control, yet i can't help smash my face on my keyboard when mages do nothing but the Golden panic Sequence

Frost Nova
ice Lance Spam

Bear in mind I'm talking about people who have never even heard of Diminishing returns, not high rated players like Mattyo, Affix, Ohnoes etc.
 Of course this can easily be countered with ice Block and Medallion, but it's effectiveness is ridiculous (Making you burn 1 of 2 major cooldowns early in a game), I'm talking on the scale of a Down's syndrome child been capable of pulling off a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick and landing straight in your face.
It's a Chuck Norris reference you know it's gonna hurt.

The only issues been :
Mana Effefiency is Terrible
Molten Armour doesn't proc when Ice Barrier is up (Known Bug)

The basic idea of the build was to gimp casters more while still having that would keep mages viable against melee (Or at least try...)
After trying this build and impact proccing on Shadow Word : Pain ticks i found it hard not to Lol irl while getting frostbolts off in their face.
17/0/44 had Arcane Concentration to make up for no frost channeling, yet this lacks both, Piercing ice could be swapped for channeling, as I've seen 17/0/44 builds dropping it for permafrost, but since this build already uses it, channeling can't hurt can it?


Also I hope this feeds some of the Gameriot trolls, I'm here for ya :')
