What's in a Name?

Recently I got the chance to reform my arena teams, and so I decided to put a little bit of forethought into the name game. What's the point behind a name? For starters, it's one of the first things an opponent sees after they win or lose to you, and any time someone looks you up on Armory, there it is, along with your rating.



So, my criteria for an arena team name:



1. It must be, at the very least, mildly humorous. It doesn't have to be a joke or punchline in of itself, but it should at least be potentially grin-inducing, or a cultural reference that is taken out of context.



2. It cannot refer unironically to some degree of skill. What I mean by that is that the name can't be something to be made fun of when you inevitably lose. No "hardcore" names, and nothing that makes a claim as to how good you are. The converse, referring to how bad you may or may not be, is allowed.



3. It should be relevant (not too obscure) and have the potential to be so through the rest of the season.



4. It should have a good ring to it when spoken out loud, so that it fits into conversations without being awkward.

- Proof that you can be a top 50 team on a competitive BG and stlil have a name that smacks of roleplay.

- Swing-and-a-miss on the cultural reference; vaguely "hardcore" name.  And the name can't even be justified by a high rating.
