Project in my attic

Yep thats right I finished my homegrown bud, it's a strain of White Rhino and its amazing straight up some of the most kronik **** I've ever smoked. That nug right there weighs 7.5 grams.
I recently broke my ROOR, so I have been without a smoking device for the past 2 weeks. So to celebrate my cropping I went and bought a new bong, or should I say zong.

I got her for a real good deal only $70 and she rips real hard, already ordered a diffuser down stem for it to get it really rippin.
Theres a video of me ripping it if theres any questions for how hard it rips or the size of my lungs.
So this is gonna be my new blog, WeedRiot. I'm going to write about Weed, WoW, and Rap, if you share those interests and would be interesting in helping out hit me up with a PM.
I will finish every blog with a Rap Video.
Today's Video: Big - Flamboyant

Nothing too impressive, though better than a lot of my friends can manage.
Then again, I started being serious about weed at 8500 feet in the Himalayas. Tends to make your lungs pretty srs business.

Haha I live at 8'500 feet in Colorado my lungs are fine me and a couple of my friends can take some very sizeable bong rips, out of my old 2 foot ROOR with a diffuser and a perc in it my friend snapped a 1.2g bowl.

Well, that individual rip was rather mediocre, that's all. I've many friends who've lived all their lives at zero altitude who can take rips like that.

I personally prefer Lungs for huge hits. I like to smoke casually out of my bowl though.

I am not preaching against them, but this kind of garbage is akin to posting "bro" party pics posed with some girls and a can of beer in your hand. Who are you trying to impress? Bored teenagers?
If you were so satisfied with this and other activities in your RL, you would not be posting pics of it on the internet trying to show total strangers that you are cool.

you dont understand. maybe its just a weed thing because its still illegal and underground. but most people that smoke weed like to talk/discuss it with others who do, because there are many things you can discuss about it, thats unique to where you live, what variety of buds(weed) you get, especiallly if you grow it. theres just a whole sub-culture to it that makes it very interesting for those that do. even bongs, flavored papers you use, pipes/dugout, etc. to it that is unique to each individual....probably just like discussing different cocktails/drinks for drinkers.
you just dont see discussion of it much due to obvious reasons. which makes it more interesting when it blogged about IMO.

Exactely that is not interesting to you, cause when you read that, you didn' know what White Rhino, Kronik, Homegrown Bud and probably 7.5 grams, something about pot is not gonna be interesting to you if you don't smoke, while though as if you were a stoner browsing through GR in the middle of the day most likely high and saw this you would probably very interested.

honestly man, i could clown every type of individual tho with different pics just like you did. i could clown the old drinker guy playing wow, the top 40 music choirboy nerd gamer, the skateboarder into punk, i mean the stereotypes all have their insults.
you just dont know the sub-culture therefore your interests in it are nil. its pretty ignorant to pretend nobody should blog on it based on your lack of experience/interest in it.
to you thats probably just another bud of pot....but to people who smoke weed its definitely quality over most of the **** thats easy to get these days. but really, drugs all in all can be a very interesting topic altogether IMO. definitely over more WoW, ARENA, gaming, etc. blogs done a thousand times over here and then some :P

Your one of those typical people who don't do drugs and "never will". And in doing so you act like your better than people who do. Making comments about how if weed discussion comes up its just to try and look cool and to fit in.
If you really hate discussions like this than don't click on them. No one here is asking for you to come in and talk down to people with an interest in pot.
If you honestly think what hes talking about has anything to do with 3 guys standing around a keg acting cool then you need to re-align your perspectives.

I don't think I'm better than people who do drugs.
Some people have an attitude that it's not enough to just do something good, or take part in something you enjoy -- you have to make sure you let everyone else know about it. Strangely enough, this stereotype has taken off in the world of mainstream rap videos more than anywhere else.
Doesn't matter if it's bong pictures or keg stand party pictures on the internet, gratuitous gold jewelry, 20 pound diamond wristwatches, or A-pillar tachs on your Civic ... it's all for show. You're attempting to flaunt something because you think it's cool. That's what I have a problem with.
If you have to tell everyone you're a badass, you're not a badass. If you have to show everyone how cool you are, you're obviously insecure and seeking approval. Drugs are the example here, but it extends to everything.

I make no claims or discussion about my personal life or endeavors here. I write a blog on a gaming website (Gameriot) that mainly focuses on discussion of video games. Surprise!
You have come to a gaming site (Gameriot), made your profile pictures into pictures of weed, started a blog called WeedRiot, and have now posted your first blog entry where you post pictures of yourself with your new bong and talk about your home grown weed crop.
Which of us seems more desperate to establish some kind of identity to strangers on the internet?

even then weed is a big sub-culture to gaming, more than some of you want to pretend/ignore.
just so many uptights here, basically like soccer moms who are hating, but front like they arent. why does it bother you all so much if someone makes a blog about weed, or people like talking about it? because its bad for us? like gaming isnt bad, and you couldnt be doing more productive stuff than sitting in front of your computer 24/7? most of you smoke cigarrettes too, thats not productive or great either :P
just so hypocritical....

i simply just dont see the 'badass' part that youre talking about. does everyone talking about high end arena pretend they are a badass because they started a blog about it, thats exclusive to them, and not every player? wouldnt that be along the same lines youre talking about?
so what he posted a pic of some weed he grew? so what if he showed off his bong? thats interesting to people into it because we generally all have our own versions. i fail to see the wanting to be a 'badass' youre talkinig about, if anything youre the one creating that depiction in your own mind because you dont know much about it, or have any interest in the subject.

Yes, people who write condescending blogs about high arena ratings are indeed trying to be badasses because they are unsatisfied IRL. But at least it's on topic for the site, so it's more expected.

according to you. the masses dont believe that, and its always only the minority super into music that seems to prop stuff mostly because its obscure and not mainstream.
i mean i can go talking about go go music, which some people probably never heard of, and is obscure. a lot of it was garbage tho. the stuff that got on the radio were its best stuff...
and that generally happens with all music, where the minority really into it will hate on everything mainstream, even tho its mainstream for a reason, while the unsuccessful songs they prop.
im not saying thats always the case, but by and large for every artist, their best stuff generally goes the most mainstream.
and back in the day the radio played a lot of 'good' rap songs, not sure about these days...

The pictures were of people attempting to act tough by showing off how cool their possessions/hobbies are, and he was comparing that to Xyi's post. The purpose was to explain how infantile posturing by flaunting possessions/etc is, not to criticize anyone for liking weed, rap, beer, or cars. All of those are awesome, but to say "I'm cool because I like weed" or "I'm cool because I drank 50 beers" is just moronic. If the people in the pictures were "acting black," as you put it, it doesn't really have any relation to his point - that's not why he's using them as a comparison.

Please, show me 5 good rap songs right now on the radio that actually involve good lyrics. How is, "She li-li-li-licked me like a lollipop" a good song? It's trash. Whatever happened to the Snoop Doggs, Jay-Z's, and such. You know, people who actually rapped about ****, not just said 3 words and repeat them the whole song.
Oh and I love the Beatles. I don't think you can really go more mainstream than them.

well i dont really follow rap these days, almost not at all. i prefer talk/sports radio
but i was talking about back in the day more. still tho when i listen to the radio, i hear shaggy's best stuff, or even coldplays best song on their album. even with almost every popular singer that gets air played its their best stuff.
maybe rap is different these days. its always had issues for radio play with all the cussing and stuff i guess.
oh and funny enough i loved the beatles too, but more their 'obscure' psychedilic stuff
not reallly the twist and shouts, but more along the 'i am the walrus' type songs they did...

Eh, I wouldn't necessarily say their "best." A lot of bands/groups pick a single that will attract people into buying the CD, something usually catchy. Also, I never was too huge a fan of Coldplay, but their new cd is actually decent.

Oh same, I am the Walrus was actually my myspace song for a few weeks. One of my favorite beatles songs. I must say though Abbey Road is probably my favorite album by them, it's one of those albums you can throw on and leave it on. The Kinks are a band similar to Beatles, you may like them too.

hell it wasnt even invented that long ago all things considered
It's definitely not new. Freestyle was a form of spoken poetry in Europe centuries ago, long before it was the hobby of every African-American living in the suburbs.
It can also be argued that the dancing/theatrics put on BY black people in all those music videos were simply a reenactment of the horrible things people did to them for entertainment pre-civil war (black face, comics, etc).
And poetry is the essential ingredient of GOOD rappers- or should I say poets. Don't ask how long poetry's been around.
Rap is simply a commercialized, sugar-coated, opiate to appease the masses of ill-informed jackasses.

thats so ignorant its laughable. i'm not even super into rap, especially these days, but i grew up on it, and every white, black, asian, etc. person i knew at least liked some parts of it.
i mean we can go back to talking and the whole english language if you want to make this retarded argument.
theres beats to it, rhythm, it may resemble poetry, but its not poetry, its rap. its completely different. if poets back then actually rapped and made it an actual rap song instead of reading poetry rhymes with nothing else to it then i might agree. but poetry is very different from rap altogether.
either way rap was born from **** like 'jam on it', and a bunch of other stuff that would be considered really bad today. and this was like early 80's, maybe late 70's? i cant even remember :P old old people hate on it more than anyone it seems, while they think classical music thats a yawnfest is great ;p
i mean we can go back to talking and the whole english language if you want to make this retarded argument.

I agree that Rap is a new phenomenon. Rap is not defined only by the style of delivery, but by the inspiration for its content.
Rap and country music are kindred spirits in this way. Compared to most other vocal music which is either religious or artistically inspired with purposefully abstract lyrics, rap and country songs are about real life topics, with no layers of masking on top. To some musical elitists, this makes both genres "bad," but it's just a different style imo.

but country music has been around for a much longer time, no? i always thought that about every music thats popular today but rap, and thats kind of what made rap more emphasized withiin recent generations.

I don't know, it's kinda hard to tell. Both rap & country have ties to blues music, and country certainly developed earlier, but in my mind, they are both kinda the same, both telling stories about everyday life rather than lofty feelings and abstractions.
Country comes from rural areas and Rap from urban areas, but they are both like the music of the people.

Apparently you've never heard of punk music...
You want 'real world' music, that's as close as it gets.

"I recently broke my ROOR"
when I saw your bong I was about to link roor-bongs.com until I noticed that sentence.. well at least you have taste.
other than that I noticed once again how awesome it is living close to the netherlands where you order your weed from a menu. (on top of living in a country where smoking is legal and owning a few grams isn't criminal)
