Tourney Realm Qualifier Results?

As we have teams that have tied for the final spot in the first qualification round of the 2008 World of Warcraft Arena Tournament, we will be hosting a special playoff to determine the team that will advance to the North American Regional. We will be setting up a special realm for the teams participating in the playoff, which will be played online on Friday, June 6 at 6pm PDT. If this time does not work for you, please let us know as soon as possible.

Awesome. No offense to hafu,glickz,rhaegyn or duelists but if blizzard went by their rules states here:
"Qualification Rounds and Regional Qualifier Tournaments  The First Qualification Round of the Tournament. The First Qualification Round of the Tournament shall last for approximately six weeks, and will commence on March 31, 2008 at approximately 10:00 AM Pacific Time (5:00 PM GMT) (subject to 'Server Maintenance' to be performed by Sponsor), and end on May 20, 2008 at 2:00 AM Pacific Time ( 9:00 AM GMT)."

Then it should have been Fraps,Frag Dom, gc and his dad, we dont even s key irl. Period. Theres not even a discussion that those were the teams, in that order, by 2:00am and everyone knows that.
- Around 2:30am Dynamo logged on, started playing games and tanked a bit down to 2140.
- Duelists all log on, plays 1 game vs hafu, wins, and reaches 2nd (after 2 am, though)
- Hafu continues playing throughout the night, I went to bed at 4:30 am and they were 2125. Before servers shut off they reached our final rating (217 and now we're tied and have to do this mini series ****. Warrior/Druid mace stun rng mirrors + lock dots.

Again, I know Dynamo didn't do this in purpose but just more ridiculous bull**** added on to the already enormous amount of ridiculous bull**** that the TR had, it's really frustrating knowing that any random 2100+ team could have played random 5 pt games till 5am and qualified.

 

 

to be fair there was only one team queueing the rest of the night (rng banana phone) and they were like 9 points once they stopped. the next team we got was 0 or it wouldve been 2179! there were only like 5 2100 teams so yea any one of them probably could've done it.

 

That's pretty ******* stupid, I hope you completely dominate dynamo, assuming they're terrible enough to show up when they know they shouldn't be in.

Pretty much. That pisses me off though, because I went to bed thinking that Blizzard was going to just use the 2 am results. But unfortunately I was wrong.

 

Yup. I e-mailed them. In typical Blizzard fashion I expect an automated response along the lines of Bull****, We took the ratings from the final armory update! Bull****, not realizing the armory didn't update for a ******* week, heh.

I suggest you cleavers do the same, only 4 teams were invited so it's not like they'll be bombarded with e-mails, perhaps you'll even get a real response, probably not though.

 

Yeah, I'll try to email them. Even though 99.9% I won't get an actual response

I expected them to take the results from Sunday night's armory, like they did with their first tournament.  This is an outrage, and I expect a fix to be put in place immediately.  The teams should be: Fraps, Dynamo, S Key, and MoB Gaming!  THX AND GG! lulu

Altho I agree its really gay they dont stick to their announcements (as if this "tournament" didnt allready seem like a joke). If it was me I'd prolly stay up all night keeping myself in the top4 because Blizz did the exact same thing for CGS 2v2 and Blizzcon 5v5 =/
