Most PvP'ers in the WoW community, or warlocks at the very least, know who Psyhawk is despite him not making a huge name for himself or ever really posting anywhere. I also wrote an article about him dueling on TR a while back as destruction and beating basically every rogue there. In any case, some drama regarding this brutal gladiator came up recently on Arena Junkies, and because not everyone reads that site or even this particular top, it's basically implicating the sale of his account to a person that impersonates many other people.
What happened, in Psyhawk's words:
ok story time. before i sold my lock at the end of s5, i had it up on a bunch of different sites playerauctions/md etc. i was getting messages left and right etc, many scammers and some legit players just not wanting tp oay for the amount i was looking for ( had an 80 lock/rogue 4 70s with way too much time invested.) so anyway im eating dinner one night and get a phone call from some1 interested in my account, call him back after i finish eating. one thing leads to another and im now talking with "buddhists brother" guy seemed pretty legit says hes in the military and really just looking for something to do on his offtime. hes not getting paid for another 3 days and just wants to play on my account in the 3 days till he gets paid + will pay extra for my time. sounds pretty good. He even gives me "buddhist's info" just for me to feel i can trust him. i didnt actually check the info but w/e. i give him just the info obviously, cant do much harm and everything seems to be going ok, friends are checking up on him and hes on CONSTANTYLy just doing bgs/world pvp it seems, quits the guild that i made and joins the most random guild ive never heard of and just starts hanging with them, joining their vent and saying hes psyhawk any chance he can get. this goes on for about a week and a half while my family is down and im not exactly keeping track of everythng i should have. ends up transferring to chogall and does pretty much the same thing. anyway the end result is basically the best pvp video ever made: PSYHAWK 1ST VID
Screenshots from the matter can be found here and here.
And if you want the TLDR version of it all, Foofstah summed it up best:
Someone at the end of s5 played psyhawks account for 2 weeks saying he was going to buy it strung him along etc didnt buy it. This person pretended to be "Buddhist"'s brother and gave psyhawk "Buddhists" account info. Someone pretends to be psyhawk trying to get sneakysnipes TR info, giving him "Akkrioss's" info. Sneakysnipe talks to real psyhawk on xfire. Psyhawk rofls and deletes the rogue on "Akkrioss's" account because he thinks this person is the person who strung him along at the end of s5. Thats about the jist of it. Pretty funny psyhawk deleted some random kids account idk lmfao made me proud.
I think it's pretty hilarious overall and the fact that the impersonating kid used Drakedog music is just icing on the cake. It's kind of disappointing that Psyhawk quit because I have had the chance to play against him on TR and I must say he was one of the better warlocks to have played the game. Watching him duel every big name rogue on TR and pretty much embarassing every single one (even the undead ones) was a site to see, also.
Beastcleave Remains #1
With Kintt Arthur retiring from WoW and Beastcleave suffering a decent nerf with the change to enhancement shamans and no longer having snare immunity, many people thought the comp would eventually die down and be a second-rate gimmick comp once again, but with Twix and Flex from eMg picking up Toez (at least for live play), they go on to prove that their comp is still #1 in the United States with an impressive 80% win ratio on the hardest North American battlegroup.
With shaman totems not being effectively stompable anymore, this comp has very few counters as of right now. Warlock teams are basically free wins, death knight teams put out no damage or control, RMP teams should be a joke, and well, you get the point. Even heavy plate TSG-type comps don't really fare too well against this, so does Beastcleave even have a realistic counter right now? If I had to guess, I'd say that it would have to be a heavy burst cleave team such as priest/ret/rogue or something along those lines to get an early kill on either the paladin (MD divine shield) or the shaman but even with that type of comp, I can see the rogue dying within a few globals of trying to chase someone around a pillar. If anyone has any success stories from either bg9, your other battlegroups, or even EU playing against the enhance shaman, bm hunter, holy paladin setup, let us know your secrets!

You know what's satisfying? Someone thinking you're fanboy'ing yourself when it's actually really a different person

You see my Ret and his DK (granted with terrible stats for a terrible combo) in one team? Now I wish I could say I multiboxed those chars because that would excuse the terrible stats but it sadly I didn't
I don't have a second gameriot account. Brb smoking a victory cigar

Don't blame Serennia for this one, I swapped days with him on semi-late notice.

Even if that is the case, you were still able to pull out semi-sufficient blogs when you had to go back to back for 2 days. Although I didn't enjoy them, they were better than this trash.
Swapping is not an excuse.

about the blog:
you don't give us anything. you tell us a story about a warlock who doesn't even play anymore and drama that surrounded him 2 seasons ago. wtf? and then you confirm that beast cleave is still number which any of us can do by checking the bg9 ladder (as that one is all that really matters imo) or the sk100
thanks serennia.
PS. yay for Yiska-day!
