The BG9 Resurrection, Drama Is So Last Expansion

This is a pretty controversial topic right now in the arena scene. Basically there are a lot of top-rated players and teams that are all interested in transferring over to BG9 Bloodlust, primarily on Tichondrius Alliance and Blackrock Horde. While some see this as an opportunity to bring most of the active talent into one battlegroup for better competition all around, other pessimists (namely Ming) see this as a hugely detrimental decision to US teams as a whole if they were to congregate into one main BG again.

To be honest, most of the US teams had multiple teams across various battlegroups to practice on. Creating a "unique" comp or practicing different strategies that conventional teams haven't seen much of yet isn't something you can keep entirely clandestine when you have all of these "practice" teams and the tournament realm to play on (previously anyway). The real reason why EU and KR teams did so poorly, at least in my opinion, is that they haven't adapted fast enough to the mindless playstyle that most of WotLK arena embodies.

American teams have embraced all variations of cleave, double healer, and any other cheesey comps you can think of and have no shame in simply zerging someone down or playing a style that takes little finesse or coordination. Who cares, though? At the end of the day, every team is playing to win and nice guys always finish last. The interest of many teams returning to BG9 to create one all-star BG in the United States won't hinder the American teams in the slightest. If anything, it will simply give the LAN teams better practice with a more centralized battlegroup to play on if they want to compete with the best.

To anyone interested in joining in on this, there are several threads on AJ about this, but the general consensus is that Alliance teams will be going to Tichondrius while Horde teams will be transferring to Blackrock. Although if you don't prefer one server/faction or another, it can be easily remedied now with the faction transfers finally going live yesterday.





Drama Is So TBC
I won't go into many details here with "recent drama articles" but people really need to get over trying to stir drama constantly. If I've learned anything from writing on WoM for years now, it's that the Gameriot audience is just one big bandwagon of lemmings waiting to hop on the next person's misfortune, whether it be WoW related or otherwise. If you feed the trolls, you'll get some likes and your 15 minutes of fame if you're into that.

I've personally stopped caring attention, likes, eFame, or any of that other nonsense, so the people that try to bug me, my guildmates, or workers at XG are really just wasting their time. Drama stirring is beyond old and even Ming's articles have gotten a lot less fictitious in the last few months or so and become a lot more factual. The only person that really even fuels drama anymore is Zilea and it's obviously not serious 90% of the time.

My point of this all? None really. Children will still be children and trolls will still be trolls. Just stop obsessing over other people that you don't know at all, I guess.
