It took around 3 weeks to finish this video. (I wasn't necessarily working on it everyday) It was developed around the art of editing; although, I don't and won't claim it to be the best or a great piece - In my mind I could have always spent more time and meticulous effort in its creation.
In contains random segments of pvp orchestrated to match the flow, movement, and timing of the music at choice. To some, it may cause discomfort to your eyes. In such a case, this may not be your viewing style and I would suggest not watching it - or better yet, commenting. I plan for the video to be viewable soon as it has been rendered.
The name is an obvious combination art and orthodox:
or·tho·dox
of, pertaining to, or conforming to the approved form of any doctrine, philosophy, ideology, etc.
art
the quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance.
Just to clarify, this is not a pvp video. More or less it would closely resemble a trailer but I consider to relate it as an independent piece. All footage was filmed wearing 6/6 Level 60 Champion set which is planned for any possible future pvp video.

My position hasn't changed, the stuff in those screen shots is TERRIBLE.
Quote Stryider:
"As it stands the biggest problem with the blogs are that the ones with the most user response (i.e. comments) are the ones that hit the top. That doesn't necessarily mean they have bad content, it just means that what you see may not be what you want. It also doesn't mean the content is worthwhile."
"I think the best thing you can do right now to help those blogs you like is to patronize them and leave feedback, even if it's just a small comment. This will help you push content to the top that you enjoy and find viable."
I found that interesting. Either way, try to have some enjoyment in the video.
Again, I READ YOUR DESCRIPTION. You’re posting of screenshots IN A BLOG ABOUT AN ARTISTIC MOVIE with subject matter that explicitly mirrors the topic of said movie. A logical conclusion would be that the screenshots are related to the movie. Therefore, as I said previously, if your movie resembles those screenshots you can consider that most people aren't going to watch it. I can draw on the walls with dog poop and call it art. Most people are going to find that distastful and disgusting though and are likely to not view my "art".
And there it is my friend, my opinion. Also, just because I don't like the way your movie looks doesn't necessarily mean I wouldn't agree with other works or opinions you might have. I don't care if my comment briefly pushes your blog to the top if I feel what I had to say was relevant.Â
What was it you were saying about intelligence?Â
You can not judge a movie on whether it is good or bad; for example, "I am Legend" with a few pictures. You could be looking at a scene where Will Smith sleeps and say, "Wow, how interesting this movie will be!", in a joking matter. This is the same case in regards towards my video. Unless I combined every frame of the video into a slideshow of pictures can you piece together what it is fully made of.
Unlike judging a book by its cover, judging a movie by still frames representing the overall intent, meaning and expression of the picture is an excellent way to weed out the garbage. In this case I suppose I shouldn't criticize your "art" so much as I should your choice of promotional material if the above material is indeed meant to promote your picture.Â
I assume (and you know what happens when we assume) that you made a choice in the material you wanted to post as a representation of your work. Therefore, my point stands that IF those screenshots represent the quality to be portrayed in your picture I will not be watching it. If they don't represent you picture and they aren't there for promotion then I would question what they are doing in the post at all.

The above quote represents your entire statement and the passive aggressive intent of said statement. Removing the latter part of the sentence changes the tone of the statement entirely. I must admit, I made my original post at least partly because of that sentence alone.
You could have just left it at that and stopped commenting, IMO.
I, on the other hand, will be watching it since Venick has put out quality material in the past and because I really don't give a F what you think and will make my own judgement based upon the full work. Thank God you don't teach. Making a final judgement on someone's work based upon looking at only a small portion of the work doesn't really seem rather intelligent.
Have you ever heard of a portfolio? It's a small sample of the work one can accomplish but is a representation of said work. Ever heard of a resume? Again, a small sample of work that has been accomplished but by no means a representation of their overall ability. We use those tools all the time to separate the trash from the treasure.
Your arguments are laughable at best. You could have just said, "I will be watching Venick's video." But you didn't just leave it at that did you? Oh, I guess that makes you a hypocrite.
I can not and will no longer try to prove yourself wrong. Its a personal opinion that shaped through personality and which can not be claimed as incorrect. I still feel I am right and/or your judgement on this subject is at least not right either.

That does not represent my statement. Not commenting was also forwarded by the addition of suggestion. Considering that passive aggressive is up to you and perhaps you would be correct if you were a psychologist. Then again, that was not my intent.
The only reason you "seperate the trash from the treasure" is because you do not care or have enough patience to look at the full scoop. (given that this sample is of something bigger)
PS: Stop calling my images, "promotional material". This is my blog and where I write. It does not say I'm promoting things and it does not mean I'm trying. Get your head out of the work place.
I'm pretty much over it I suppose. Good luck and hopefully you're movie doesn't look like the garbage in those screenshots.
