So far this tournament, it's had amazing talent, lots and lots of upsets, a cinderella story of Yea We Lift and Pandemic showcasing their dominance throughout the tournament.
However, as a player in this tournament, I thought one ruling and one issue involving class comps needs to be fixed. Teams switching comps at the last second shouldn't be allowed, it was suppose to be fixed by Toronto but there's no 'official' rule about the comp swapping agenda.

August 26th, TORONTO - The first official dispute of the WSVG World of Warcraft event surfaced on Saturday evening during the Lower Bracket Finals round between MoB TurtleBeach and Yea We Lift. The match concluded with a score of 3-0 in favor of Yea We Lift. Shortly following the match’s completion, MoB TurtleBeach followed tournament procedure and alerted an admin that they believe that rule 6.1 was violated.… More

MoB has leveled a challenge against Yea We Lift because Lift obtained a Hunter pet that was not a part of the original set of pets that Hunters receive on their premade characters. I know Caals will get angry at me for writing something a bit negative about them again, but I had to ask this question - why wouldn't Fnatic switch in their Rogue in the game against Phospha?
Fnatic ran Warlock, Mage, Druid against Warlock, Priest, Druid and were simply mana drained into oblivion. Caals did a good job for the large majority of the marathon match kiting and keeping himself alive, but there's not much he can do to win the match with two classes d… More

The WSVG metagame has evolved greatly since the first two tournaments with Rogue/Mage/Priest, Warrior/Paladin/Shaman, and Mage/Warlock/Druid emerging as the three premier cookie-cutter combinations. A few other teams, like Yea We Lift and their Hunter Hamchook, lo… More
