Now I usually don’t get too excited about WoW PvP videos anymore, frankly they all end up looking about the same (my own included). You get the pretty standard, ok here is me playing X combo in Y bracket and we win without much effort at all. However, a recent video I saw on warcraft movies went well beyond the average.
Video: Destram – Killer Instinct II
Class: Rogue
Spec: 19/42/0 and 18/0/43
Download: http://files.filefront.com/Destram+Killer+Instinct2avi/;9476176;/fileinfo.html
Stream:http://www.stage6.com/user/Cadaveri/video/2105860/Destram---Killer-Instinct-II
When I first started watching this video I was already under the impression of, “oh great, another lame ass shadowstep rogue bombing full cooldowns in a 30 second period to get a kill”. I mean let’s be frank, AR/prep was exactly that. As much as rogue’s would like to believe it was our only chance for glory, well it just couldn’t be further from the truth.
In any regard, the video was the type that really got me excited. Not only from an entertainment perspective, but I could really see the skill and precise angle Destram handled every fight with. I think this is best showcased in the very first few minutes in a duel series with a gnome rogue. Destram’s ability to effectively manage his cooldowns throughout the fight and continually make well timed and well executed decisions is simply wonderful to watch.
The music in the video is wide ranging and fit well with most of the fights, in addition the editing was fine. I thought the intro turned out well and really set the stage for the whole video. All in all this is simply a very well done movie filmed by an obviously skilled rogue.
Great movie that’ll even get the most critical people excited.

druid duel a example, druid makes some dots, hots and continue to fight as bear, but in this video , he was always switching to a travelform... u dont bring so much dmg to kill him as bear. dot , hot and rogue as going to die somewhen.
there are still some mistakes his duel partner did, and this is where he won
i did not see any shadowpriest , disci priest duels ... and i know why... its kinda impossible to kill any disc priest with reflektiv shield as shadowstep. (if the priest is not making to many brainless mistakes.)
and try to kill as shadowstep a good playing resto druid with something like (11.11.39 talents), u wont...
i think all this video benefits from the bad playing of the opponents.
may be i am wrong and they did no mistakes... and the whole world is looking @ this spot.
i was bored
First off, WTF get macros noob.
(ok so don't write the macros out, you break Zuggy's page)
Its saves you a button press after you sap your opponents partner and
need to start DPS ASAP. It's also nearly impossible to Vanish - Premed
button - Garrote/CS button. Make those into one and you'll reap the
benefits.
I also was a little disappointed in his DoT rushes. He loves the
Garrote Rupture ownage out of stealth. My issue was his shadowstep. Why
shadowstep the Garrote in stealth? Rupture does more damage BEFORE
talents and a hell of a lot more after. Some one who uses the combo
frequently should be aware.
Also anything w/o Zuggy's Pro Focus Gouge/Kicks is newb-sauce. And that resto shaman was bad =P
Last but not least. The duel with the mage made me firmly believe
Combat/Shadowstep is better. Imp Sprint, Precision and DW spec. I just
CANT giev them up. Watch that duel, he got really lucky and hes an
engi, a good mage will make you pay for not having Imp Sprint. And in
arenas, people are just spamming snares. 0/20/41 FTW IMO.
(Btw Zuggy liked this vid cuz it was another Combat Rogue/Disc priest =P)
