Hunt/Lock vs 2346, PvE Gear and Other Things

Alright, first of all we already have our new paladin who is Elessarsz (Zolz played with us 1 night so we didn't QQ EMO QUIT) - sorry haters our team didn't disband LOL DRAMA.

Anyways, he's a great addition to the team and definitely fits our personalities.

Sad thing is, 2346 got buffed more than Hunter/Lock in 2.3. Shamans are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to OOM with water shield - you leave a pet on them they'll hover above 3k mana the entire game if you don't put it on them they can drink as much as they like. WTB cool down. They are basically warlocks. That's a big problem for Hunter/Lock since how aggressive you can play is dictated by the shamans mana pool because him alone can do 8k burst damage. Oh, almost forgot PI compliments shaman burst WAY to well. And, shamans having 100% push back resist significantly helps them out since you can't put a pet on them and push them back. Hell, even while attacking them while your pummel is down they can freely cast.

2.3 gave hunters stuff they didn't need and were small changes. Removed dead zone - not a big deal in 5's. Arcane shot - useless for the most part? Mortal Shot - definitely useful with a warrior...

For those of you who don't know how Hunter/Lock works vs 2346 I will use some quotes to sum up it up and my argument against PvE Gear which Ronmexicoz describes perfectly.

Swarm: "Bloodlust'd PvE Paladin allows for many Bloodlust'd tunnel vision burns, new Water Shield makes Shamans un-oomable, and Warlocks are ... well, Warlocks. Hunter/Lock can't put out enough pressure vs a PvE Paladin to force the Priest to heal, so he matches the Viper Sting in terms of burning (unless you train him, in which case you have both casters and the warrior free dpsing). That, and, anytime in the game, 2346 can just turn to the Warrior and get an insta-gib."

The Great Ronmexicoz: "What I do have a problem with is people who use PvE gear crying when other people point it out. WoW is the type of game where you can get pretty huge PvP advantages that have nothing to do with skill. If I had those advantages I would use them. I would not, however, make something on the order of 50 posts about how it was actually skill not gear that helped me win."

Sums up the argument pretty well, and I'll add another quote because mainly because Globals has Down syndrome and is completely oblivious to everything.

Globals: "Say what you want about hunter vs shaman, the fact is almost every
single fight came down to attrition, and their lineup should outlast
ours every time."

Kintt: "And they would if you didn't have PvE gear. Raped idiot, period."

CILPS VS SHUTTLE***** WERE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE BLOG, LOL OWNT.

Here are the clips, it includes 4 wins and 2 losses vs Shuttle***** and one random game that I still had in my FRAPS folder that I put in purely because I needed the extra time because music was too long. I didn't include some of the wins and losses due to the length of the games or the stupidity of them, I only included one gib match to prove my point - I could've done a better job of LOSing that game but as you can see it didn't matter because I didn't die because of more casts on me but because of the warrior so I don't think it would've made a difference. Oh, and if I would've added the few other gibs or long drawn out matches I'm pretty sure you'd be bored. Also, there was a match where I pretty much lost us the game due to miscommunication in blade’s edge that I didn’t bother adding.

Do note, if I ever do make an "OFFICAL" PvP Video, some of the songs I've used will be reused.

Also, reason I didn't post this yesterday (when I wrote it) is because the video wasn't uploaded. The Quality is not so great, don't ***** you can tell what's going on which is the purpose of the clips I'm not making a WCM or anything. If you don't like the music, turn it off.
