Here is top 20 of every turnament but Taiwan (can't access armory).
Korea:
9 Rogue/Mage/Priest
4 Priest/War/Druid
2 Druid/Hunt/Lock
3 Priest/Hunt/Lock
Euro:
4 Rogue/Mage/Priest
5 Priest/War/Druid
5 Rogue/War/Druid
1 Druid/Lock/War
1 Priest/Mage/War
1 Priest/Druid/Hunt
1 Rogue/Mage/Druid
US:
4 Rogue/Mage/Priest
4 Druid/Lock/Rogue
3 Druid/Lock/War
3 Druid/Shaman/War
3 Lock/Shaman/SPriest
1 Priest/Shaman/rogue
1 Druid/Hunter/Pally (i guess ret)
So in total:
17 RMP
9 PDW 0 US
2 HLD only KR
3 PLH only KR
4 DLW 0 KR
1 PMW only EU
1 PHD only EU
5 RWD only EU
1 DMR only EU
3 SSpL only US
3 DLR only US
3 DSW only US
1 PSR only US
1 DH + ret only US
There is a big difference in the top spots too:
Korea:
2 Rogue/Mage/Priest
1 Druid/Hunt/Lock
1 Priest/Druid/War
Euro:
3 Priest/Druid/War
1 Rogue/Mage/Priest
US:
2 Lock/Shaman/SPriest
1 Rogue/Mage/Priest
1 Druid/Lock/War
As we can see, each continent will bring some different comps and it will not be a mirror vs mirror boring ****.
As for the class we have
35 Priests
30 Druids
28 Rogues
22 Warriors
19 Mages
16 Locks
7 Hunters
7 Shamans
1 pally

It is safe to say that there will not be a single one, even ret, at the Blizzard event.

Paladins are clearly overpowered and were rightfully nerfed into the ground during/after season 1 without a single ray of hope in the future

Two reasons for those differences between continents:
1. Small sample. Take the top1000 teams and I'm sure it will be closer since random wins/losses are largely responsible for what teams end up in top4 or top20.
2. Different meta-games. Just various outcomes of a random test.
Interesting that even with those limitations (and s2 gear) the total classes ranking is not that far off from my OP-meter, except for Paladins.

Nice to see that 8 out of 9 classes are fairly well represented. This is quite an accomplishment for a mmo.

What is your definition of "fairly"?

The classes that are underrepresented are warlocks, mages, hunters, shamans, and paladins. mages are at 95% representation, warlocks 80% which are both really not too bad in terms of representation.
Blizzard really needs to wake up and start handing out more instants to paladins and shamans.

Given how complex mmo's are, yes i think it's an accomplishment.

i dont think its too bad, its interesting though to see what comps are popular where though. I used to think that US was at the forefront of the competition and pvp "innovation" but after the creation of the eurocomp and seeing players like inactive saying "eurocomp will die at bg9" than having the eurocomp take bg9 by storm, im really not too sure who has the best players anymore. it will be interesting to see how everything will pan out at the end of the tournament and its affect on s4.

Eurocomp was carried by cheatdeath, teams tried it with ar/prep and got **** on hard. I would love to see some euro comps queue actively on bg9.

i agree inactive pretty much single handedly butchered the hype of bg9
i don't think anyone takes him seriously now

A few of the Euro P/W/D and W/R/D are actually the same team, just thought I'd let you know, besides that cool blogpost.

I am totally shocked that there is a paladin.
I never thought anyone would use a paladin if they have access to priest/druid or rog/warrior.
