You could argue the current system is barbaric and clearly nazi since people are dieing because of no healthcare thereby putting all the poor people in society to death.

Our country kinda has this big tangent that since we beat the Nazi's, the greatest horror to modern society to some folks, that it justifies our military actions and foreign policies in the present. Its often a Neo-conservative and rightist talking point about America being exceptional and America needs to spread democracy and blah blah blah. Its basically just a bunch of Patrio-centric circle jerking in my opinion.  Sometimes I wonder if people realize that America is the football jock of the world lunchroom. This jock in particular enters the room and talks about why he is so great, how everyone would suffer without him, but is more of a nuisance if he isn't trying to actually do something positive. Which he usually ***** that up too...

People like Glenn Beck are the reason why I am liberal and an opponent of the right. ITs all talking points and fearmongering from them folks. Not much solutions..well..unless the solutions line the pockets of wall street and corporations *tax cuts galore*. Of course I am sure some wingnut is gonna start screaming about the bailout, but smart folks know the truth about that situation so its not worth debating in my opinion.

LIberalism is a ****** up ideology and has baseless beliefs? It was the left that freed the slaves (The republicans of that time were leftist not right wing like they are now), passed the civil rights movement, fought for women to have the right to vote, supports enviromental legislations, and ensuring religious freedoms. Liberals believe in protecting democracy. Liberals believe in being friendly and open minded to other cultures. Liberals beleive in treating Homosexuals as human beings and giving them the same rights us hetero folks have. Such things aren't ****** up and baseless friend lol.

 Liberalism to me is about social progression, freedom and liberty, and fulfilling equal moral and social justice. Conservatives believe in tradition, the American Myth, keeping the status quo, and avoiding change. They rather stay in their bubble world of the familiar where everyone is the same and no one stirs the pot of social change. Liberalism is the thought of true freedom and liberty. Freedom and liberty is practiced with intellectual thought, not silly things like gun rights, protecting corporate greed and American Exceptionalism.
