What makes you think this is about me? I am actually quite responsible, and I am quite the grown up for my age. Trying to attack my character based on your ill conceived notions towards people who lean towards Socialism is very sad and shows your lack of understanding. Socialist, and Communist respectively, tend to be Altruist. We concern ourselves with the welfare of other people and the enviroment that surrounds us. A country like America is better off with people of this train of thought. America has alot of deeply troubling issues that have been caused by too many self-centered people and groups of people over history. Altruist don't see just our own little lillypad in a pond. We see the whole pound and the other lillypads with frogs on them. We all make up the pond. There is an I in AMerica, but there is no I in freedom. Freedom is a priviledge unless it is enjoyed by one and all. Freedom to live, freedom to chose, freedom to be free from debt, free from dependence on the market, and free

I can easily call you a spoiled, selfish and self absorbed elitist and that still wouldn't be a productive argument. Attempting a poor Ad hominem attack is not how you argue :).   This isn't just about my life. My life will be whatever I desire it to be. This is about our country and its 300+ million citizens and how the majority of that number is being thrown under a bus of a lie that convinces them giving their wealth to the top 1% will somehow rain prosperity down on them. Its the sickest lie I have ever seen. America can live up to its promise. Its just time America has asked itself the questions that doesn't like to ask. One of these questions being "Do we have it wrong for once?".

What makes you think I am excluding myself from my arguments? Sounds like your own misinterpretation.

Of course, instead we should give it to the government.

Yet you seem to think that us "giving our wealth" to the government is going to rain down things like free healthcare and a free college education for everyone.

It's all well and good to be concerned about others - hell, I'm probably one of the most empathic (yes, empathic) people you'll ever meet - but at the same time I don't see how that means we should drain ourselves dry for people who just want to take advantage. I'm not saying that everyone in America is a freeloader, but there are a lot of them out there (how many people take free stuff simply for the fact that it's free, even if they don't want/need it?). In my opinion, there's no need to waste time, energy, and money catering to people who are too lazy to help themselves. People are more appreciative of, and will make better use of, things they have worked for and earned.

You are already letting the government drain us dry killing people. If we waste time and energy killing people, dismantling democratically elected governments, why can't we help our own people?

You are letting your poor perceptions of the have nots as lazy disrupt your judgement. I mean I could argue with your point that black people shouldn't have civil rights because they are too lazy to set up their own businesses to hire their own people. Why should we waste time and energy trying to get them to work in our places of employement. See how poor that logic is? If you have no problem with your wealth contributing to a $520 BIllion dollar Military-Industrial Complex, yet have a problem with your fellow citizens gettign Universal health, Free and Open Education, Social Security,  Decent and Affordable Housing, I would say that is a mixture of priorities. Of course maybe death, destruction and mayhem, and giving more money to the rich from the poor is a higher priority to you. I can't judge after all. That is probably your beliefs.

Think about this, instead of increasing taxes, would you be opposed to reducing the defense budget and using the freed up tax revenue towards Social Welfare? Answer this carefully, because I am going to see your real logic when you answer this.

So in your eyes one "wrong" constitutes another? Good logic.

Social welfare, your view of social welfare, isn't the job of our government.

So instead of taking in my question and answering it, you try to discredit my argument for social welfare in general by arguing against a specific form of social welfare, particularly my specific views, that I didn't lay out in the question.  The question was would you have a problem with reducing the defense budget in order to pay for social welfare programs instead of increasing taxes.

Not-socialism aka welfare is for cowards who won't even step last in a
revolutionary movement, but cowardice is a negro trait so don't feel
bad about it. The essence of liberalism is negotiation, a cautious half measure, in
the hope that the definitive dispute, the decisive bloody battle, can
be transformed into a parliamentary debate and permit the decision to
be suspended forever in an everlasting discussion.
-Carl Schmitt, political philosopher

Even jews were important bolsheviks but  the Negro is indolent and lazy, and spends his money on
frivolities, whereas the European is forward-looking, organized and
intelligent.

We’re going to do for blacks exactly what blacks did for the revolution. By which I mean: nothing.

-Che Guevara, Marxist revolutionary

"Weltlauf" by Heinrich Heine:

Start out rich, and life will heap
Even greater wealth upon you.
Start with little wealth, and life
Takes that little swiftly from you.

When you've not a sou to spend,
Ah, you might as well be buried;
Only wealthy people, dolt,
May the earth by rights inherit.

original:
Hat man viel, so wird man bald
Noch viel mehr dazu bekommen.
Wer nur wenig hat, dem wird
Auch das Wenige genommen.

Wenn du aber gar nichts hast,
Ach, so lasse dich begraben --
Denn ein Recht zum Leben, Lump,
Haben nur, die etwas haben.
